After a day of many multiple attempts at the Black Spindle; I have a new found respect for for those who have it. We (multiple groups of "we") could easily get to the Taniks wannabe with 6 min remaining but then it's blight/adds management hell. We managed to get the big guy down once with 1:30 remaining but there were so many adds.
so.
many.
adds.
So hats off to you Black Spindle holders. Hope it's worth the PTSD
EDIT: Big shoutout to @Sniping piikey, and an LFG random @UNR34LG4MER. Thanks to them, I managed to finally get the Black Spindle. I was starting to think I was the problem.

Congrats! I got when I was 290 and the other 2 were 290ish. Blights, adds, boss... repeat. Most recently I did it again using dark drinker to clear up the 3 wizards in the second room, which had caused some hold up the first run months ago.

1 답변Two manned it with 2:30 left on clock, in my experience you need to clear ads blights first, disregard the boss completely. Once all first wave ads are cleared damage boss until second wave, rinse repeat. After the third wave you can then concentrate on burning down taken Taniks. The ads are triggered by boss health so burning the boss makes the degree of difficulty go up exponentially by having to deal with three waves of ads at once. I'm sure people will refute this but in my experience it makes the engagement easier and removes the necessity of having the perfect weapon class setups.

작성자: SGTBrownT 3/9/2016 4:39:22 PMNightstalker - black hole w/ light of the pack, raze lighter Defender - weapons of light w/bastion & illuminated, dark drinker Storm caller - landfall, bolt caster 2 run scouts, 1 run auto 1 run sniper, 2 run shotguns 2 Use swords to clear knights and phalanx in room one, other works adds with primary. Defender will Dark drinker the wizards in room 2, while 1 focuses add and the other focuses snipers up top and blights. Tether & Bubble the boss and go sword ham immediately on entering the room. Boss goes down in 30 seconds, defender switches to sunbreaker gathers orbs from nightstalker. Knight stalker switches to bladedancer. Stormtrance small adds across the room in a sweeping circle. Raze light the knights, captains, and phalanx while storm caller is clearing smaller adds. Kill blights while storm caller is clearing smaller adds. Go hammer and blade dancer and kill what's left.

2 답변Did it with two of my friends we had a titan hunter and warlock. And many many tries.

3 답변I ran Spindle twice when it was first discovered. Got it 2nd try, and I refuse too ever go back to that room. It's the one thing I'll never do again in Destiny.

I am not at all an elite player. not even very good, but I got in on a very good group, because I got this done on my second try, and thus, was one of the lucky ones to get the 310 version, not 290! (My first attempt, I stupidly attempted on my own. because I figured doing the daily on my own is easier than doing the daily with a friend, which is harder/has more enemies, etc, but this is a timed event, and you need all the help you can get). Unfortunately, I did not get the ship, and as much as I would really like to get that, I just don't have the patience to go through that again, even though now I am a 310, have two exotic swords (which I did not have when I did this) and I was in the low 290s when I got spindle.

I did it once, and I'll do it again for my newly leveled alt (I'm just sick of swapping my current one, and I don't want to buy it from the kiosk). But, stormtrance, ward of dawn, teathers and Raze Lighter all make the experience much less painful.

1 답변In the taniks room priority for adds goes down like this 1. BLIGHTS. God. Damn. Focus these -blam!-ers ASAP 2. Shielded enemies/yellow health bar. Self explanatory, kill the toughest first (does not include taniks right now) 3. Trash mobs. Psions first. Then the rest. Hammers with sunspots are good and stormcaller is EXCELLENT. 4. Taniks. Only take down his health a quarter at a time, as more of the mobs above will spawn every time he looses a fourth of his health. All the exotic swords are good, but their tiers are Raze-lighter Dark-Drinker Bolt-Caster Rinse and repeat, and you'll have it complete around the 5-6 minute mark.
-
Finished it with nearly a minute and a half left. I was really surprised, and it just felt a lot easier with Dark-Drinker and a Blessings of Light bubble. The raid shotgun also two-shots Blights, giving you time to get rid of the Blight and do an AOE attack with the sword to get rid of adds.
-
Two hunter void and a warlock storm or Titan sun breaker and 1 you'll have all the orbs you need 2 you'll finish with plenty of time ( like 2 min) left Use swords , solar and arc to take down the witches quick , also shoot tether at them; kills them about two minutes faster. At boss , use arc swords on the blights to decrease enemies, when you've taken out about 4 or 5 blights and enemies ( using tether and sunbreaker) tether boss and go at him with swords then just mop up the remainder of the enemies with another tether but you have to kill the blights or else they keep spawning.

작성자: Sbuper 3/8/2016 6:23:37 PMHave you tried sword rushing the boss? That's my go-to strategy, for some reason he can't handle super close-quarters and will almost always miss his attacks. You can usually take down at least half his health in one life, even more if you have dark drinker. I've even outright killed him a few times before dying at all!
