After a day of many multiple attempts at the Black Spindle; I have a new found respect for for those who have it. We (multiple groups of "we") could easily get to the Taniks wannabe with 6 min remaining but then it's blight/adds management hell. We managed to get the big guy down once with 1:30 remaining but there were so many adds.
so.
many.
adds.
So hats off to you Black Spindle holders. Hope it's worth the PTSD
EDIT: Big shoutout to @Sniping piikey, and an LFG random @UNR34LG4MER. Thanks to them, I managed to finally get the Black Spindle. I was starting to think I was the problem.

It's not really too terribly difficult until just right as you get to the last part. People keep suggesting to bring a defender and go all exotic swords while others suggest bringing AoE weapons like Telesto or Dragon's Breath. Personally, I've found it easier to just prioritize beforehand so you know who is using and doing what. Got a pal who's got good weapons to kill the Ultra? Focus on adds and switch out to an arc weapon for the Taken Centurions. Take turns using supers like if you have a Nightstalker set up as a tether-orb generator then focus on using the best of your damage-dealing AoE supers. Finally, make good use of your perks and abilities. A well-placed grenade or distanced melee can make quick work of enemies while you're using your primaries. Overall, just focus on your team at large and cooperate. At my best I've had about ten to twenty seconds remaining once we finished wiping out the last of those endless Psions. >,>

1 답변I realize this is a little old but I ALWAYS kill boss first then blights then adds. If everyone does their part it takes no time at all. Defender bubble on platform with boss tethered and swords. I've killed him in 30 seconds before and 3 minutes remaining. I've also done the damn thing 40+ times between trying for the ship and helping others. ..... Still no ship

I usually take down boss first with tether, blessings and 2 Raze. 1 person focuses on blights with sniper and scout while the other 2 are swording. Boss is usually down with about 2 minutes to spare, focusing on adds (most of which are psions). Can usually finish with around 30 seconds to spare.

작성자: WhoDat_617 3/9/2016 5:07:52 PMIt's definitely best to have two on blight/ad duty while one DPS's the boss with heavy and sniper shots. When he runs out of ammo, he switches with one of the others and works on blights and ads. Rinse, repeat. I did it first try back on the first day it was available as a team of low 290s when the Spindle dropped as a glorious 310. Realized I hadn't died at all after we had finished it.
