As an example of the top of my head I'll name pewdiepie and minecraft as "medias" which I see a lot of hate being pointed towards.
So is it the humans compulsive need to stand out a reason for such anger being pointed towards a big younger fanbase and the content that this audience enjoys once they grow out of it. For instance I do not get why has the term "kid" even become an insult these days. Its a period all of us went trough and why should anyone be harassed for going trough it.
I rly dont get it...

A medium usually has the same percent of haters, but the larger the fan base the amount of haters increases, say there's a game with 30 fans, two of them might be haters, but if there's 30000 fans, there might be 2000 haters. more haters means more people hate the game (obviously), but it's still the same percent of the players. It's different percentages for different games but the principle is the same

There is a reason for the hate of big you tubers. Pewdiepie has 42 million subscribers and gets 2 mil views per video, whereas Vanoss has 16 mil subscribers and gets around 5 million views per video. Cyanide and happiness' channel has 5 mil and gets like 2-3 mil per video. The larger the channel, the quicker they get old.

2 답변I don't understand youtubers. Unless you're those guys that play CoD and say funny shit in the lobby the whole time then there's no reason I want to watch you do the same mission I've done. I don't care about your opinions on weapons, I have my own opinions. I watch walkthroughs when I'm stuck somewhere (the shortest video I can find, praise the people who post videos with no voiceover) or funny videos like the "aye yo lemme suck that dick" guy. Lmao

3 답변As far as the personalities go, it's usually just a matter of perception of what's entertaining and when someone gets more exposure, they are more likely to come across the people who don't have the same idea of entertainment as the people subscribed to that medium. But for hatred of a fanbase altogether can be understandable because the only people who stand out to them are the people who are shit heads. And the reason they stand out, is because they see the larger medium with this fanbase as a sort of idol to either themselves or as an idol to others and believe there followers would behave in an almost biblical matter of social ettiquette with the whole "love thy neighbor" deal, so when they see a dude saying "this video was shit, (insert gamer here) played this game already and is way more entertaining than you.", they see that as a projection of what attitude this "idol" is perpetuating unto their followers. Make sense?

I only hate one ones that suck. If there is a huge following of someone saying something is bad, it's probably bad. Now some games that aren't exactly tailored to the teen-adult male audience may be mocked because it doesn't fit into their age group, now those games get a little reprieve.

7 답변Mostly because their fans are cancer. Just look in the Pewdiepie comments and forums for popular games. They're made up of 10 year olds that just throw insults around.

3 답변I believe the problem people have is that they find those people annoying. Personally I see nothing wrong... Well... The FNAF fanbase is annoying. Ok then. Mostly nothing wrong. People can like what they want and a fanbase is a good way to find others with alike interests.
