Ride Along on the Dreadnought is currently live, tuned in for 10mins and it's something Bungie is 6 months too late with.
Playthrough TTK missions?
Showing concept art? Really? Unless Bungie recently acquired a DeLorean and spent the past year developing a flux capacitor, they may have not noticed everybody else and their granddads pet (except me) has been grinding the same content for the past 6 months and know what the Dreadnought looks like.
Oh and sorry, all three of you sound absolutely depressed, like suicidal depressed... Maybe it's the stress of having too many lapdances, or too much coke?
Make sure you tune in next weeks Twitch stream all about the Festival of the Lost! We'll show you some of the exclusive masks you could earn during the event which was 4 months ago.
In other news : The Division is out in less than a week, I've preordered my Gold Edition. Preloading begins tomorrow!!
PS4 gamers, Uncharted 4 Beta is now available for download too, activates over weekend.
EDIT - Some people are missing the point, this is not a "buy The Division" or "Destiny sucks" thread, Bungie recently vowed to improve communication, whilst communicating MORE is a step in the right direction, but communicating RELEVANT information is more important. This stream might have been more relevant in Sep/Oct 2015 (I'm fully aware Bungie recently spent your Silver $ on a snazzy in-house studio). If Bungie are really going to communicate better, talk about current issues in the game and how they're looking to tackle it: RNG, Raid relevancy, Missing Exotics and Shaders, Crucible Matchmaking, Connection, Balance, Error Codes etc.
Update - You can see video and all the comments here:

Watch it on the browser page and not on an app.

We know they are good at making shooters, MMO's is basically a Blizzard / Activision (Edited for the nerds) trademark and story telling was abandoned on their end because of their failure to see the big picture, although they can do it as evidenced by HALO. So the RPG (Role Playing Game) aspect is what is missing from Destiny in my opinion and clearly they are capable of doing that as well. House Of Wolves began a good trend with Etheric Light and all they needed to do was perhaps add a vendor that allows cosmetic changes like hair, tattoos, paint, (hoses as hair for exo's) maybe, something interesting. Add in some random encounters more frequently in the open world and just make sure above all else that every activity has a reward worth us coming back for and there you have it. Here's a quick overview of how I would change things off the top of my head, not well thought out so forgive my rambling. Public events - Drop special items at random to give to the gunsmith for unique weapons that have unique perks which only he sells. NO OTHER guns should have these perks. Public events should also have pvp scenarios that players can involve themselves in if they choose. Pvp players shouldn't just be subjected to arenas. There can even be scenarios wher a public event takes place that last as long as half an hour where enemies flood in during the firefight and affect the K/D of the respective players involved. Xur - Stops selling exotic weapons and only sells exotic armor. I say this because exotic weapons should be found in game as a special reward for unique quests, strikes, missions, stories, bounties ect. Xur selling exotics has been one of the main reasons this game lacks longevity, no one cares about RNG for exotics when all you have to do is wait for XUR but if story quests and unique bounties are in place for all exotics then people will try and find them or wait for the day they release or even actually do patrols for the random bounty. If there are twenty exotic weapons and all of them are given through random bounties, story and other means, the game will be that much more entertaining and rewarding. Strikes - Add in some more, new ones and old ones at various light levels for everyone to enjoy but make the rewards more than just a chance at legendaries, they need replay value that doesn't get stagnant. People do pvp at end game because they enjoy the challenge. Perhaps after a certain light level we unlock a solo challenge mode. Completing the challenge mode strike solo will offer you a good chance at a unique (high leve) gear item that has its own unique perks and or look that you cant find anywhere else. Similar to the raid these strikes offer the second highest tier of drop loot for players who want a challenge. Strikes should be added into the game in increments as well. There should be seven new strikes in total upon launch of a dlc. Two given on release day and one new one released per month after the release of the game. This keeps new strikes fresh and the rotation from getting stale plus the possibility for rewards grows with the solo challenge. Story - Should be similar to how you created it in Taken King. Given in increments which unlock as you progress through various tasks that involve, strikes, patrols and even the nightfalls however there should also be additional smaller story arcs that take place every month, even one a month that involve unique characters and rewards. Nightfall - Should have a chance at dropping exotics like it did in the past and should be one of the main ways to get one, one per character per week. This should have never been changed. This could be a way to get old exotics as well at an upgraded light level. Drop rates - should be catered around your current light level. Once you hit a base level of let's say 300 the rate drop changes to 305 - 310. Once you hit 310 the rate drop changes to 310 - 315. The rest is up to the raid or solo challenge strike I mentioned above. Raids - Should not be brought forward if you want continuity but people want to use old gear (RPG) so have some of these activities like Nightfalls and solo strikes, drop etheric light moving forward so we can do it. You can even have Xur sell them at a descent price. People will still play the old raids just for a chance at the loot and at the very least it keeps with the story of moving your character forward with his rewards. Patrols should have surprise large enemies that can show up at random during your patrol. These enemies are not like public events and timed, they are random encounters for a chance at some unique item that we can trade with one of the vendors for something special or collect enough of them and receive an exotic, things like that. Here's the ball bungie now roll with it!

They never said they were going to be showing anything new.. soooo the dreadnought is the newest piece of content so they showed that. And it is the only world they didn't have a ride along on. Now they have done all of them. This was most likely a stream to make sure they have everything set up and running correctly so when they get around to showing new content there will be less of a chance of any hiccups.

Love Bungie's art, but the only thing I enjoy in the Dreadnaught is the architecture as it is, well, a little dreadful in there. Maybe they can have questions/answers during the stream? Take five and answer some questions relevant to the stream's topic? I did notice the lack of enthusiasm, almost felt sorry for the two artists. It's the first of a series of streams, maybe the next one will be more upbeat. Bungie tweeted "Special shout out to Andrew Hopps and Brian Frank for braving a live audience to talk about their work today. " That's sad, should be interacting with the audience, many of us are big fans of the art and genuinely curious. We can read a lot of info online as it is, what makes Twitch different is the interaction...

I was about the dev's and how they came up with the dreadnaut. I thought it was cool to see the concept art that was in place first and how they think through design. The stream wasnt for people who want new info. They said in this week at bungie that new content wouldn't be discussed until later this month. Im excited to see the sound designers next week personally and love get bit into the designers minds to see how they work. Also, to anyone who doesnt like destiny, why are you on the forums then. If you hate the game, no ones forcing you to play it. Just like call of duty or barbie princess island adventure, people like it and people hate it. Get over it. Go play something you like and stop feeding the community with your worthless garbage.
