Ride Along on the Dreadnought is currently live, tuned in for 10mins and it's something Bungie is 6 months too late with.
Playthrough TTK missions?
Showing concept art? Really? Unless Bungie recently acquired a DeLorean and spent the past year developing a flux capacitor, they may have not noticed everybody else and their granddads pet (except me) has been grinding the same content for the past 6 months and know what the Dreadnought looks like.
Oh and sorry, all three of you sound absolutely depressed, like suicidal depressed... Maybe it's the stress of having too many lapdances, or too much coke?
Make sure you tune in next weeks Twitch stream all about the Festival of the Lost! We'll show you some of the exclusive masks you could earn during the event which was 4 months ago.
In other news : The Division is out in less than a week, I've preordered my Gold Edition. Preloading begins tomorrow!!
PS4 gamers, Uncharted 4 Beta is now available for download too, activates over weekend.
EDIT - Some people are missing the point, this is not a "buy The Division" or "Destiny sucks" thread, Bungie recently vowed to improve communication, whilst communicating MORE is a step in the right direction, but communicating RELEVANT information is more important. This stream might have been more relevant in Sep/Oct 2015 (I'm fully aware Bungie recently spent your Silver $ on a snazzy in-house studio). If Bungie are really going to communicate better, talk about current issues in the game and how they're looking to tackle it: RNG, Raid relevancy, Missing Exotics and Shaders, Crucible Matchmaking, Connection, Balance, Error Codes etc.
Update - You can see video and all the comments here:

Watch it on the browser page and not on an app.

3 답변Listen, I'm really passionate about Destiny and wish it would succeed. But we, as a community, need to realize that Bungie aren't the bad guys here. It's Activision. Look at World of Warcraft, for an example. Activision bought WoW in 2008 near peak subscriber count, 12 million. Well, we all know what happened with that. Last report had subscriber count around 5 million. They recently stated that they won't be releasing these numbers in the future. The only reason we know about the Spring update, the Fall 2016 DLC, and Destiny 2 in 2017 (reported in the weekly update) is because Activision released an earnings report that morning and ok'd Bungie to say anything at all. No matter how great an idea Bungie had, no matter how much potential Destiny has, it amounts to nothing when Activision controls what gets done, when it gets done, and how much they're going to milk you for.

3 답변I'm glad they are trying to pump some life into the corpse that is Bungie PR, but they're going to need a bit more of a hook. And the usual cringy walking on corporate eggshells humor/excitement isn't gonna help. This is something they should have done months ago; and with a community already furious from shady shenanigans, appeasing them with dry content commentary is just gonna seem more like company trolling to a lot of players rather than listening to the consumers. They've dug themselves into a pit, and getting out of it isn't going to be easy. The only thing that will start to put an end to the endless hate is to talk about what's coming. But with Activision's leash so tight around their throats Bungie can't even do that until the masters say so - which leads to a lose/lose situation until the hourglass empties out... The entire situation is just painful to watch and it shows, even on the poor devs faces - they just wanted it to be over... And chat... Glorious chat... You were cutthroat and hilarious, which made the whole thing worth it. And I'm not at all sorry to admit that.

2 답변My theory is they were testing out their new twitch studio. With crap content nobody is gonna care about in case it didn't work right.

1 답변When's the last time anyone spent time in the Dreadnaught for something other than the raid? I honestly can't remember, maybe for the final fragment...

Didn't watch it, wasn't ever going to watch it, probably won't ever follow/support/watch their stream. Using a new way to communicate to your playerbase more effectively with advertisement of a dlc thats already been out for 7 months was a really poor decision ... Again. You think the dreanaught is big? No, its not, in fact its tiny, it only seems big because you can't ride your sparrow and the area itself is vast, the actual playable area, which by the way is the area that matters, is actually miniscule. Mars, Earth and Venus all have a larger playable area than the dreadnaught. Bungie seriously needs to stop going after our money and start focusing more on the people that have brought this game through thick and thin, im talking about the day 1's, not the casuals that haven't bough the emotes or have yet to buy something so you feel you can get more money off them. No the year 1 players, that have stuck with this game and its sorry excuse for a developer through over a year and a half of ups but unfortunately, mostly downs, all in hope that this game will be what we were promised it would be. Ultimately though we were all lied to and the stupid thing is? We are still being lied to ... multiple times, thats where mine and many other's trust has faded with Bungie and I doubt based on their current path they will ever earn any of it back.Bungie doesn't deserve this game, give it to blizzard, at least they know what they are doing and ain't sold their souls yet.

lmao although i do agree with the boring lame stream, the division will be trash mark my words.. ubisoft games are usually overhyped and dont deliver long term i have seen live streams of the betas and had friends play it they all told me it got boring after a while. Id much rather wait til may when uncharted comes out with a quality game.

1 답변작성자: GrandStyles 3/2/2016 11:04:15 PM2 things this stream taught me. 1. Deej is really bad at video games. Legendarily bad. 2. Bungie employees are being forced to work at gunpoint.
pretty sure one of those white papers said, "please kill me..."
작성자: dnrobs 3/3/2016 12:36:45 AMWhat was interesting and I hadn't really noticed, the ship that is crashed into the dreadnaught is the one that takes off from the first mission on Phobos. That puts a different slant on the story.they weren't running away but staging for attack.

I watched the last 5 minutes to see if they mentioned anything about new content. Those clowns look uncomfortable and eager to get out of there. Probably could feel the eyeballs burning them from the vets and real destiny fans, if any watched. Less than a week for The Division

Why do you think I didn't even bother to check what it was about. I knew it would be bullshit and a waste of time the second I read their announcement of it. They may be communicating like we asked but it sure as hell isn't the communication we asked for!

Honestly, this was the ace in the hole for me to say "im done with this game" Im mainly a crucible player and im having fun with it but lately all my matches were sweaties and its just getting downhill from there. The Lag is still -blam!-ing horrible. Over and over i ask myself "why do i still play?" This stream was a huge disappointment and that was the gasoline that lit an even bigger fire in me. As for now im done with the game until new content comes out. I was hoping more for yr 2 but this is it? Im out bungie. You can have your 10yr plan with you if you guys dont step up. The drastic reduction of players are already bad as it is and at this point its gonna plummet even more... Goodluck with whatever you guys are planning in the future and ill be there to play as long as there is content to burn. Until then, Sayonara.

8 답변작성자: Sanguine_01 3/3/2016 1:05:25 AMI am starting to wonder if they have any people in Bungie right now that understand the concept of RPG. We know they are good at making shooters, MMO's is basically a Blizzard / Activision (Edited for the nerds) trademark and story telling was abandoned on their end because of their failure to see the big picture, although they can do it as evidenced by HALO. So the RPG (Role Playing Game) aspect is what is missing from Destiny in my opinion and clearly they are capable of doing that as well. House Of Wolves began a good trend with Etheric Light and all they needed to do was perhaps add a vendor that allows cosmetic changes like hair, tattoos, paint, (hoses as hair for exo's) maybe, something interesting. Add in some random encounters more frequently in the open world and just make sure above all else that every activity has a reward worth us coming back for and there you have it. Here's a quick overview of how I would change things off the top of my head, not well thought out so forgive my rambling. Public events - Drop special items at random to give to the gunsmith for unique weapons that have unique perks which only he sells. NO OTHER guns should have these perks. Public events should also have pvp scenarios that players can involve themselves in if they choose. Pvp players shouldn't just be subjected to arenas. There can even be scenarios wher a public event takes place that last as long as half an hour where enemies flood in during the firefight and affect the K/D of the respective players involved. Xur - Stops selling exotic weapons and only sells exotic armor. I say this because exotic weapons should be found in game as a special reward for unique quests, strikes, missions, stories, bounties ect. Xur selling exotics has been one of the main reasons this game lacks longevity, no one cares about RNG for exotics when all you have to do is wait for XUR but if story quests and unique bounties are in place for all exotics then people will try and find them or wait for the day they release or even actually do patrols for the random bounty. If there are twenty exotic weapons and all of them are given through random bounties, story and other means, the game will be that much more entertaining and rewarding. Strikes - Add in some more, new ones and old ones at various light levels for everyone to enjoy but make the rewards more than just a chance at legendaries, they need replay value that doesn't get stagnant. People do pvp at end game because they enjoy the challenge. Perhaps after a certain light level we unlock a solo challenge mode. Completing the challenge mode strike solo will offer you a good chance at a unique (high leve) gear item that has its own unique perks and or look that you cant find anywhere else. Similar to the raid these strikes offer the second highest tier of drop loot for players who want a challenge. Strikes should be added into the game in increments as well. There should be seven new strikes in total upon launch of a dlc. Two given on release day and one new one released per month after the release of the game. This keeps new strikes fresh and the rotation from getting stale plus the possibility for rewards grows with the solo challenge. Story - Should be similar to how you created it in Taken King. Given in increments which unlock as you progress through various tasks that involve, strikes, patrols and even the nightfalls however there should also be additional smaller story arcs that take place every month, even one a month that involve unique characters and rewards. Nightfall - Should have a chance at dropping exotics like it did in the past and should be one of the main ways to get one, one per character per week. This should have never been changed. This could be a way to get old exotics as well at an upgraded light level. Drop rates - should be catered around your current light level. Once you hit a base level of let's say 300 the rate drop changes to 305 - 310. Once you hit 310 the rate drop changes to 310 - 315. The rest is up to the raid or solo challenge strike I mentioned above. Raids - Should not be brought forward if you want continuity but people want to use old gear (RPG) so have some of these activities like Nightfalls and solo strikes, drop etheric light moving forward so we can do it. You can even have Xur sell them at a descent price. People will still play the old raids just for a chance at the loot and at the very least it keeps with the story of moving your character forward with his rewards. Patrols should have surprise large enemies that can show up at random during your patrol. These enemies are not like public events and timed, they are random encounters for a chance at some unique item that we can trade with one of the vendors for something special or collect enough of them and receive an exotic, things like that. Here's the ball bungie now roll with it!
