Can someone explain? What's wrong with wanting and trying to win in a game mode where winning is the goal?

Nothing wrong with trying hard, It would just be nice for their family if they'd try that hard to get a job, girlfriend, socialising or just moving out of mommas basement. The world would be a better place Again nothing wrong with trying hard
jk guys

Can someone explain? They expect people to just lay down and take the loss or something. Isn't that the objective in pvp, to win the game?

2 답변작성자: ThisMahSwamp 3/7/2016 9:59:41 PMIt's an excuse players use when they are getting their shit pushed in during a Crucible match. What's so ironic about this statement is that the individual claiming that someone is a try hard (as though that's a bad thing) is actually trying hard themselves, but still ends up getting beat. They never admit it, because they are weak minded individuals. Instead, they will say they were playing casually and you are just a try hard. Lies. /thread

1 답변There's a difference between wanting to win & being a sweaty tryhard. If I want to sweat, I'll play a 3v3 game mode or trials and I'll use my try hard setup. I don't want to go into control with two new weapons to try out, only to get headshot 9x in a row by camping snipers because the opps went full blown try hard. Some people run into control with a full team of 6 with TLW/1000ys while using sunsinger Viking funeral. It's like bro you can try, but the level you're taking it to is concerning.

Because good players should obviously let bad players win. Shaxx always says "the crucible is no place for mercy, unless you're good." Good players should have mercy & let the players that are worse than them kill them.

1 답변Machiavellian interaction, effortlessness and ease of success are always valued more than legitimate effort. We are basically hardwired to respect the best, provided they were never at our level. If they did rise to that place from the scrubs, it makes us look at why we are still scrubs, which is something our minds try to protect us from innately.

3 답변I'm the first to admit when I've been outplayed. The only thing that gets to me is the Op setups like 3 sunsingers with fire bolt Viking funeral touch of flame two running quick res and one with claws of amakara. That's not tryhard more like don't have to try.

Nothing is wrong with wanting to win. Don't hate the players, hate the game. If Destiny had private match making, the crucible would be different. Most of the good players would be doing game battles or competing in other tournaments. They would still play Trials and Iron Banner but you wouldn't see them as much when playing casual. Until they have private match making, nobody will be pro, just good. Been that player in another game, that game went to hell and until Destiny adds private lobbies, its not even worth the effort to even try hard. Then again in a few years, peoples stats in this game will not mean anything!
