I'm talking real pull ups with proper form so you are using your back muscles to do the work. Hanging rests only, chin above the bar without tilting your head up and stretching your neck, controlled on the way down and all the way down until your arms are straight, and all the way back up without kicking your legs up for momentum.
If you can't do six you're not a real man.
Edit: Not to be mistaken for a chin up, where you have your palms facing you at a shoulder width apart, which uses your biceps.
Pull ups are done with your palms facing away from you at slightly more than shoulder width apart and your elbows pointed outward. This will use your back muscles. Tucking your elbows in will work your triceps and isn't considered a pull up.

Why the -blam!- is the highest number 6 I could do more than that since like age 12... Yes real pull ups proper form counted by my marine weights teacher. I ain't even strong. Probably considered weak even but that's easy AF

2 답변Not sure. Haven't done a pull up before I started kickboxing, Track, and going to the gym. What I can say though is that I can do 200 crunches under a minute and 50 push-ups in under a minute.
