Toxicity spreading outside the forums
I won't say names but really. This community is pure garbage. Full stop. Seriously. I'm not going to say names otherwise I'll be violating the code of conduct and this post will get pulled. Now, what I will say is that people here, in this community are just awful people. Now, this guy, he was a real piece of work. He was awful.
Ok, so I was put in a random team for a heroic strike. We were at the boss (the flayers) and we had just called in the boss. So there's this guy on a box with truth. I wave at him as a kind of friendly greeting. So he then sends me a message. We kill the bosses and I read the message. To my surprise, it says "F*ck off"... I had no idea why he was so hostile. So being the general nice guy I was, I asked why is he being so hostile. He then says "I don't appreciate scrubs waving to me. It's how I get asked to do raids". I told him I didn't need to raid cause I already done it. Plus, this guy only had 4335 (or something) grimoire, when I had 4625 grimoire. But he takes notice the the fact I had a light 300 hand cannon and a light 300 shotgun (they was both raid). So by then I had given up on this guy and just left him alone. He also used a lot of sarcasm. He also rambled on about how he "was top 200,000 in crucible. You think you're on my level? You're trash" as if he is some kind of bigshot he deserves everything. Plus he had only 26 clash matches in his grimoire. 26 (I do only have 23 but that's besides the point). Although, he did have 600,000 medal score. But yeah. Not saying names but I'll probably mention it to someone along the lines. Then I read his PSN desciption. It said "Do not contact me. I'm with ******** (the persons name). I value my [b]gf[/b] more than raids c:".
At that point I've almost given up on this community. This guy was a jerk. I will report him to PSN and seriously, I hope he does get a permanent ban for bullying/harassment and mature language.
Please can we clean up our act. If there's any more people like this- who just randomly get into fights with people over a simple greeting then I'm done with this trash community.

Just think of the (destiny ) playerbase as real world people. People on the subway, people in grocery stores, people at work. Add anonymity to that. You have to realize that 99% of the world's population are and will forever be assholes with even worse parents. Ignore them, stick to your friends. But keep an open mind though, unknown people [i]could[/i] be nice. Don't hate on people that don't live up to your expectations. It's. not. worth. It.

Hey man, we're not all idiots. But sadly your experience has a real weight of truth to it. I try, I really do to hold friendly non-hostile arguments that can construct on one another to find a common ground in opinions but it's almost impossible. There are a few great conversations i've had but most won't bat an eye to well structured arguments and will scan for others who partake in the same bigotry and shout obscenities at each other over their kd and raid completions. But please don't give up on the community. There are those of us who only choose to help and and send good vibes. Win or loose. Right or wrong.

Bradowski. It's all good. Just keep on playing and don't let the 12 year old kids get to you. If the most fun he can have playing a game is being a little bizznitch about things then why even give it a second thought. Be like someone freaking out over a monopoly game. Who cares.

They obviously have issues and decide to take it out on regular people. Oh. And stop being so sensitive. The world is a harsh place. It will crush you if you don't grow a spine. Not trying to be mean. I know I come off that way a lot. Just trying to give some sage advice.
