It's a year old. It only stands out because of Activisions marketing and it was the only few games on the next gen consoles. Gameplay is only good after playing it for 4 months then it becomes dull. Aesthetic wise though. Every game Bungie makes is aesthetically beautiful.

At least the Division mixes it up a little. I played a good bit of Destiny, but the PVE content got pretty boring after I had played each expansion for a month or two.

11 답변Your definition of nothing that stands out is baffling. Titanfall was the original parkour FPS shooter and can't remember any other games that would let you jump into a Titan. It was advertised has pure pvp game and that's what it delivered.

5 답변I'm not sure how Destiny stands out in terms of gameplay or aesthetics, but all games get dull after a while. As long as I feel I've got my money's worth then I'm happy.

TO BE COMPLETELY HONEST 😔 I enjoyed TitanFall when I was a Xbox One player. It came out during the worst Call of Duty in my eyes Ghost. And I agree with your point of Destiny being a science fiction game, but Destiny until "about a week ago" was dying, people lost hope for the game, and if you're from Year 1 the game no matter the updates and dlc still feels old. I enjoy the Division Beta because my Gear actually matters, my guns actually matter (ATM I'm saving my Wallet Coins for a AK). I don't have anything bad to say about this Beta. I'll leave my cons when the game comes out, But you have to look at the genres differently, Destiny is a sci-fi FPS with RNG in place. Division is a RpG Third Person Cover Shooter. (Anyone played Gears of War, and Call of Duty?) You can't compare the games. I feel like the Divison is going to be okay if the developers are open to the community about updates and DLC they will already be better than Bungie. You can argue that the Game delay was bad, but honestly how much better was Destiny's, and on top of that how was the Story in Vanilla? Opinions*

2 답변Titan fall fell on its face because your level cap was so low you could reach in one day. It was also focused on multiplayer. Lack of content I think would be its cause of death. Now the division could do this too should its main campaign be really short and then all there is left is the darkzone. As for getting bored with a games setting, destiny gets boring too killing the same enemies and looking at bland landscapes with no details worth exploring. For a game as big as destiny it's really empty. Mars is my example I know it's a desert but i think bungie took that concept too literally. I wanted to explore this area but I quickly found out there's no point as there's nothing there. Division could follow this as well with getting bored fighting copy pasted enemies. Hopefully New York is actually fleshed out and gives you reasons or incentive to explore it.

The fact that it's a third person shooter alone stands out for me, not really a lot of those these days, it's all about FPS now. Not sure what you're on about.

Op if you just stated that you preferred ScFi over realistic or Fantasy that would have been completely fine. Me personally I like that the division is a modern day Setting for an RPG. Not to many of those on the market

[spoiler]A stadium can hold a population.[/spoiler] In all seriousness, Titanfall is still one of my favorite games, and the hour I've played of the Division Beta gives me the same "revolutionary" vibes that I got from Titanfall and Evolve. But these days, it seems that people don't like "new" stuff in video games. A large portion of Halo fans want, in essence, Halo 3 to be copy-pasted and renamed Halo 6. Most of the most successful games released recently are sequels or reboots, in which little has changed from their predecessors.

Holy crap man, this happened to me! I made a post two weeks ago saying something about the Division and nobody reads the damn post! They just see the chance to insult you and they take it. I also think that the Division will f*ck something up. It just looks like GTA online just with optional PvP instead of being able to kill anyone anytime.
