The only people that think sniping doesn't take any skill whatsoever are either people who don't snipe and only watch gameplay, or people who are elitist players who think advanced gunplay is something done without trying. Sniping requires precision, knowledge of traffic sniping lanes in the map, vertical and horizontal corrections, drag scopes and quick scopes, all things that are not easily done without experience and muscle memory. The truth is that human beings are weak minded creatures, and would rather say that something is OP instead of accepting the fact that they got killed by a person who knows how to implement all the things just stated. Anything to keep the ego intact, I guess.
