Flawless runs should be earned by good teamwork, not by getting your ass carried by others. The whole 'Sherpa' mentality is great when it comes to raids and PvE but should not be a part of PvP, especially ToO.

Exactly you have the top 10% players and want to be streamers keeping good teams out of the Light house. And it is getting worse week to week. I am the weakest link in my trials team but my friends are beasts. Together we steamroll through to games 7 and 8 and we either end up battling a Twitch streamer or laggers. There should be a playlist for people doing carries. It's keeping good people out of the Lighthouse.

If the teams were good, wouldn't they still beat the opposing team? Especially since its technically a 2 vs 3 situation. Seems like the other teams need to get better if they can't take on 2 players of their skill level. So if they can carry someone to the light house, they are the better team.

Well pretty hard to beat a couple of guys who spend a living playing video games. I have been out of work and play this game a lot but you can't put in the hours these guys do. And your saying to get to the Lighthouse we all have to be good as RalKrafftyy or Luckky and Buttwipe? I have been to the lighthouse in year 1 multiple times but with the popularity of carries its been impossible in year 2. Get out here man if Sherpas would go to lighthouse half the time they do way more people would go to the lighthouse.

So your complaint is that there are too many good people playing against you? Isn't that what Trials is about? You facing off against the best that Destiny has to offer. I see absolutely nothing wrong with it and I guess it means the teams will have to get better.

No that's not what I'm saying. The popularity of streamers and Sherpas has grown since house of wolves when trials started. It's the same people constantly carrying people over and over. I have played against numerous streamers doing carries after already being at the lighthouse multiple times.

In raids/ trials you can make make things harder and more challenging by doing the activities with less people or as the ways of a sherpa. Only skilled players can give this happiness to the not so skilled (but great people). Its the sherpas choice and the odds are against them. If they can do it then they desearve to take anyone they like. Its for their own satisfsction of chsllenging themselves. Most skilled players have been to the lighthouse, what more is there to do?

I'll reiterate what I said below. I have nothing against the Sherpas who carry people if it keeps them interested in the game. I have certainly reached the point where there is not much else to do. However the people who beg others for a carry to the lighthouse are frankly undeserving of it as they have not necessarily put in the time and effort into both improving their own skill level to a point where they can compete and also forming a fire team in which the group dynamic allows for consistently effective teamwork.

I don't have an issue with more experienced players teaching inexperienced ones methodologies and strategies used in PvP modes. I don't believe people should be given a 'free' ride to the lighthouse. It leads to a saturation of players who think they are top shit just because they were carried.
