Matchmaking Settings Updated
[b]"New Crucible matchmaking settings (previously active in Iron Banner and Skirmish) have been added to Rumble and Control. More to come!"[/b]
Our Engineering team continues to apply recent evolutions for Crucible matchmaking to more playlists. We'll continue to monitor how these changes impact the experience. Stay tuned for more playlists to be added soon. If all goes well.

There really is no excuse for Destiny's PVP lag. Bungie has had plenty of time and money to dedicate to making a good PVP experience, but as the community has shown, not enough to make even pedestrian interchanges reliable. Lag Switching is something Bungie could have designed against, but barring that, could have imposed stiffer penalties for implementing, as normal lag is different than standard lag switch behavior, and even "zebra lag switch" (quickly flip-flopping from green to red and back, resulting in Green bar status, but Red bar advantages). The end result is that PVP is something everyone expects cheaters to prosper in. With no real, actionable results from Bungie, cheaters are convinced that even if they are caught, they won't be punished enough to deter their behavior. Most players, when they discover cheaters, simply gripe and tolerate the match (and then leave PVP to refresh matchmaking), knowing there's nothing they can do about the cheater(s), which is magnified by the lack of tools and action by Bungie Customer Support. Please tell us why we cannot place certain players on our own ban list? I'm certain this tool would be effective in helping to root out cheaters, while also cutting off cheaters from continuing to prosper. I know this idea has been around since the 1990s, as I suggested it back then.

Skirmish used to be my favourite game type because of how chill it could be, but now I don't even enjoy it.

One question though: How come in Iron Banner if you are a 6-man fireteam you are more likely to be put up against solos, and solos are more likely to match up against 6-man fireteams? I know the entire process of match-making is very technical, and that you are just the messenger for not just the PvP team, but the several hundred people who work at Bungie, but it's just a pattern I noticed and it is pretty annoying to be a solo. Good idea about the freelance playlist though. There should be two Iron Banner playlists: The regular one and the Freelance one.

6 답변The new matchmaking settings ARE NOT HELPING. I think they might have even made things WORSE. Every game of control is laggy garbage. Both on PS4 and Xbox One. NO it's not my connection. My connection is amazing, I've got over 10 years of networking experience in optimizing my connection. I'm being matched against people on the other side of the world every game, several red bar players every lobby who seem to be invincible. My shots don't register, but it's like the red bar players don't even have to try. Those who are green bar, still appear to be lagging around the map.

Bungie once said Destiny was the game they always wanted to play. Seems like in the end it will be the game only them are playing. Out of touch much ?.......

I'm not going to believe a word you say Deej/anyone from bungie. You have -blam!-ed over your fanbase to the point where quite a few people have left destiny for good. You have no plans for destiny, you have practically deleted year one altogether, and from what it looks like, no dlc. Crimson days is gonna suck, I mean come on, the best you could come up with is trials with one less person on each team and a buff? You guys are simply terrible. If you want to save destiny, bring back year one, make the matchmaking based on connection, and put some -blam!-ing effort into the content of the game!

Matchmaking makes PVP unplayable it's a fact your pvp is unplayable . Boredom ,lack of content , no matchmaking, RNG upgrading and nerfs make your PVE not worth playing . Fix it or don't basically . I believe that you are deliberately breaking destiny just to end the mess you have made

1 답변작성자: Lucid 2/7/2016 11:51:06 AMI'd have to say in my few days of playing IB, it was noticeably better. However, since applying the changes to other playlists it seems much worse. Connections are all red and yellow bar in 99% of the control playlist and i am still being match made with people from the other side of the world. I think a lot of what they are saying is for more of a placebo effect, in that I don't think they actually made any changes at all. They just expect that because they have told us they have improved the matchmaking, we will believe it. There needs to be some serious work put into the mess that they have created, read this forum post Bungie, the community is telling you it isn't right. You know, the people that play your game! Maybe get all your employees to spend a few days in the crucible and you might actually believe us when we say the state of PVP is horrendous!
