Everyone uses the same guns
The meta is really feeling dull. Tlw vs tlw battles feels like anything can happen. Either half the shots miss or they dont. And why arent there more snipers that are equal to the 1000 yard? The pusle rifle meta felt the best because that took more gunskill. Sorry i know im ranting but damn. Im sure most of you know how i feel. I really wish there was space for more guns to be used competitively.
EDIT: wow I did not expect so many responses. Its nice to see so many different opinions. I agree that this isnt the worst meta but its not the best either. Theres over 100 guns in the game and yet we can only use a select few to stand a fighting chance. That's where i think pvp needs some improvement.

1 답변I tried using different weapons during this IB, but they just leave you at a disadvantage. For instance - At one point I tried using the Byronic Hero hand cannon which I have at 310, but for some reason it was so outclassed. It felt heavy cumbersome and slow firing and yet when I use it in PvE its doesn't feel this way. I also tried a variety of different assault rifles to varying effect - mostly not good. So in the end it was back to Mida and Zhalo as primaries for 95% of the time. Secondary weapon for me is always a sidearm and I mainly use a heavy machine gun as my heavy weapon.

4 답변How was thorn, tlw, felwinters lie. That was shit. This meta is definitely more diverse. The only complaint I have is that handcannons are so crappy now. No wonder people still use tlw. It's basically the only viable hand Cannon besides hawkmoon

Im not seeing this lack in diversity people keep complaining about. Sure every match has on average 2 TLW and 2 MIDA users but I've seen much more diversity than previous metas. Hung jury, covalance duty, hawkmoon, eyasluna, doctrine, hard light, zhalo, surfs regime, red death, bad juju, etc. The list goes on. As for snipers ppl use 1kys because it's the exist res sniper to get. There are plenty of other choices. Personally I like the uzume if I decide to snipe which is rare but I use a sidearm.

Year 1 trials: Thorn, TLW, The Messenger, Hospscotch Pilgrim, Sometimes Red Death. Special was a high impact shotgun with shot package or range finder, heavy was a rocket with grenades and horseshoes. A select few sniped. Year 2 trials 2.0: Nirwins Mercy, Suros PDX (high rate of fire one), hawksaw, red death. Special was conspiracy theory-D or 1000-yard stare. Heavy round was a truth battle. Year 2 trials 2.1: MIDA, TLW, Docterine of passing, a few use high ROF pulses. Specials is still typically conspiracy theory-D or 1000 yard stare. Heavy round is still a truth battle. Obviously there are those who don't use any of these. This is just the majority. I don't think it is an issue of anything being overpowered right now, just of issue of everything else being to underwhelming.

3 답변I tbag everyone I kill who uses the last word and respect everyone who use the first curse. The last word was my first exotic within 3 weeks of the game. I used it a lot because no one else did. Until Xur sold it in November of 2014.

On top of that what's even more fun is using the Titans and the Warlock ability to hover in air then just drop behind cover pop back up and take them out again I'm the only one who does this ?

2 답변Tlw is the only way to snipe in this game without getting warriored or ramboed with a shotgun. I mean actually snipe not hard scope a lane like scrubs are doing today. I move around the map. Look for angles. Push. It's a gun that lets your game not have many drawbacks. I've always loved the last word and will use it no matter how many say it's a crutch gun. I also love autos and pulses. But it seems this day and age the only way to have a set up for all situations is tlw sniper or pulse/scout/shotgun. Gone are the days when you could pair a pulse with a snipe.

I don't have mida and have TLW but rarely use it. I switch between weapons but found lately my auto rifles has been performing lately and switch to them for close - mid range battles, pulse/scout for longer range maps. I understand what you mean between Mida/TLW and 1k stare and shotty.

3 답변Disagree completely. There's a regular amount of Mida's and TLW, sure, but I was getting lit up by a huge variety of weapons. Mostly assorted auto rifles and scouts, but the occasional pulse (Nirwen's, GoM, etc). The only weapon that seemed to be in xtra wide use was Quillim's Terminus and (as usual) Conspiracy Theory-D. But even those were balanced out by sword bearers and snipers.
