So my wife asks me to get some towels from the cupboard upstairs. I can see the towels are ready for collection, but I'm wondering, what if someone is hard scoping them? I do a quick dash in grab the towels and then make my way back to the kitchen by the most circuitous route possible including going right back to the towel cupboard when I was only a few meters from the kitchen table. Eventually I muster up the courage to go all the way. I make sure I follow the cat to act as a distraction to any campers, even though he has no idea where the kitchen table is. Eventually we get there so i turn round and do a backflip and dunk the towels and collapse the kitchen table - Score!
Please bring back Clash.
Edit: Apparently my light idea of humour appears to have offended some of the forum demographic. Please I assure you that was far from my intention. If anything in this post, or indeed other responses below has affected you, perhaps this website can help: http://www.ptsd.va.gov/PTSD/apps/ptsdcoachonline/default.htm
In other news, the cat is now IB level 5
Nice joke, I need the laugh after getting my ass handed to me repeatedly thanks to Bungie's inspired idea to make IB rift. As a solo player I guess I'll have to resign myself to the fact that Destiny will never allow me to enjoy the game and its rewards fully. IB was about the only end game activity I could participate in and get decent rewards. I enjoy Control and even came to appreciate Clash, but Rift is just not designed for randoms. If you get matched against a full fireteam it's hopeless and you might as well just return to orbit and try again.
I've gotten all 3 toons to rank 5 through pure force of will but it has been a frustrating struggle. To add insult to injury, my rank 5 rewards consisted of a 305 hand cannon and a couple of 302 pieces of gear. As I'm level 313 on all 3 toons, needless to say, all got sharded.
Changing Crucible to SBMM was the dumbest move ever. With the other team at the same skill level, any minor advantage can change the outcome drastically. All it takes is one lagger and kiss the match goodbye.
My fingers are crossed for The Division, but after being burned by Destiny, I'll definitely wait for the reviews on the solo experience before jumping in.
