Rift is such a fun game mode and the connection has never been smoother and the lobbies have never been this chill. I'm not sweating after a match anymore. Best Iron Banner yet IMO
Whats the Community's thoughts on this? anyone else loving this?

Edit) Clear some confusion, I play alone, sometimes with just 1 other friend.
Edit 2) seeing a lot of solo players hating Iron Banner Rift, shall I turn this thread into a recruitment thread?

2 답변No just don't lie. IB sucks ass this round. I can only hope that bungie never pulls this stupid ass stunt again. Rift is by far the worst crucible match type whether in a team or solo.

1 답변2+ KD here, usually play solo, been hating PvP lately since December MM changes as I only play the same couple hundreds dudes in horribly laggy games no matter what playlist I pick with long wait times and terrible hit detection. Usually not a big fan of IB as it is tougher solo. Played last night and actually had a blast. Negligible wait times (much less than other 6v6 games in the past several weeks), MUCH less lag than usual (last IB was literally unplayable, my GG never registered), and games were competitive but not overly sweaty. I think I won like 10/15 games as a solo. Small sample size but in any case I'm encouraged by the MM changes, hoping they roll them out to all playlists soon.

I hated it for the first day until I got the hang of it. It's the first time I did PvP so was super green for a while. It gets annoying if you get a crap team, but that's when you can stop playing the objective and knock out some bounties. Every now and again there is a blowout, but a lot of my games are within 4-5k points, some within a couple hundred points. I'm currently loving it. If your team isn't playing the objective, just keep trying to do it yourself and a lot of them will catch on. Once the enemy grabs the ball, just run to your base and ready Golden Gun ;)

I came into it with an open mind and hoping it would be great. Unfortunately, I've become disappointed with it. It's OK with friends but pretty poor solo. From what I've seen, it just requires too much teamwork for a bunch of randoms. A lot of players make no attempt to get the spark and just camp out to snipe those that do.

1 답변Agree. I still get agitated at losses but have rarely had two in a row. Had four in a row and that was playing with a friend. Have had better luck an more fun flying solo. This IB has seemed to be more chill and less stressful. I haven't played PvP in about 4-5 months so that could be it as well but have ha a blast so far.

2 답변Soooo... For a little bit more of a serious answer.... Yesterday, I had two matches that had some REALLY bad connections. The rest were good and solid. Overall, I've been having fun.
Even if I am still playing with myself.
2 답변Glad you enjoyed it, problem is, rift is probably one of the most niche 6v6 playlists in Destiny. And if you want people to participate in a week long event like iron banner, at least make it something that most players will enjoy. I hate rift, and only played like 2 games then quit. Just my opinion. Again, glad you enjoyed it, but for myself and I know I'm not alone here, I did not enjoy it so I won't support them.

2 답변Wow. My first guess was that this was a satire post, but I have a feeling the OP is genuinely being honest. I just can't agree with this level of joy from, imo, a crap game mode

One of my friends who hasn't really been into crucible up to this point is having a blast too. I don't think it's terrible really either. Having success going solo, and great success going in with a group. There is definitely way more blowouts now then there was though.
