People will be back to Destiny soon enough. Don't get me wrong, it looks cool.
But it does NOT replace the things people love about destiny.
Of course there will be the classic Destiny bashers that disagree but I don't see it so far....

7 답변Come back to what? Time-gates? Shitty RNG? Terrible PVP? Oh yeah, those are the best aspects of Destiny. I forgot.

1 답변Don't let twitch streamers decide what games you play... Half of them dyck ride bungie faithfully.

1 답변Considering how much destiny gets bashed by the trolls on here it certainly gets set as a benchmark for other games a lot, shows that in reality it's a great game, and I'm sure it will get better. I don't think you can compare the two. Different styles, different aims and very different mechanics. The division will certainly get a lot of attention from me, destiny will continue to do so too. Going by the beta it's an ambitious project and signs are very promising. I had smiley gamer face playing last night, recently only destiny has done that.

I love destiny. I think some stupid choices have been but whatever. I can't really play it much though - just turn it on go to space then turn it off. However that's cool - have a break and come back fresh. Looking forward to the division to fill that gap for a while. Done

4 답변I don't really post to the forums at all, but I decided to voice my experience with Defia...eh hem...Division. Oops, looks like I already let my opinion slip. Honestly, Defiance was pretty cool...until Destiny came along. I left Defiance for Destiny. It was fun while there was nothing else like it. I even described Destiny once as if Defiance and Halo had a baby. Playing Division last night felt like going backwards honestly and not going forward with an experience like I had hoped Ubi's new engine would provide. There were a lot of little bits and pieces I was impressed with in The Division, but overall it felt like a Defiance clone with "prettier" scenery and less...much less lag. In looking toward the future, I really don't expect The Division to improve much before launch to impress me any further. I'll play it through as a nice distraction between games and/or DLC for Destiny, but that's about it. It won't "kill" Destiny. In fact, I predict it'll be lucky to survive the year. They'll always have Assassin's Creed. *shrug* Good luck, Ubi.

absolutely agree. I played for 2 hours and there was one big thing missing to me . FUN. it felt more gritty and dark but never did I think to myself "this is awesome" it was just another open world game with bland enemies. :(

6 답변What about Destiny is good? The pvp sub par at best and you can only do so much pve because it's rinse repeat mechanics..I'm missing the "good" part of destiny for the solo player especially
-
1 답변Jst played it and as a hater of 3rd person it's pretty damn good. No comparison with destiny in terms of gun play etc but it's a break while timegated gear or dlc comes out. Will still be playing destiny.

6 답변I've only played the first couple of missions, but I'm really enjoying it so far. Rather than destiny, it feels more like Gear of War, Borderlands, and Ghost Recon all smushed together. And that's pretty damn fun, potentially. It will never have the same pacing as Destiny, especially in end game scenarios. But that does not mean it won't feel as difficult, or as rewarding. Biggest thing, though. People can enjoy both games. I'm spending more time on the forum here than in Destiny right now, because there's no reason I can find to play, and I'm waiting for Bungie to give me one. Doesn't mean I hate Destiny. Just means I'm waiting, and can find some other games to enjoy in the meantime. Blade and Soul. Division. X-Com 2. Maybe go back to Fallout 4 if people mod it enough to make it more like NV.

For me it comes down to PvP. PvP is what keeps a game alive for a long time. That's why Bungie has always put the majority of their time into fixing Crucible issues. Just like with Halo, the way to keep players coming back is to have fun PvP. After playing The Division I can say I like the Dark Zone PvP experience more than Destiny's Crucible. Not knowing whether or not the guy next to you will help you or turn against you is fun!! That and The Division is openly an RPG first, unlike Destiny. That's the stuff the Division offers that Destiny does not.

2 답변작성자: radeaton 1/29/2016 4:16:21 PMSame sh1t as Destiny. No real story just the same missions over and over only thing to do is grind lvls and get loot but to what end? SSDG Playing video games and getting emotionally envolved...to what end? time to put childish things aside.

8 답변I think it will be a change of pace for sure... The dark zone will be trash unless you have a group of 4 high level agents... All solo players will do campaign and side missions then come back to Destiny guaranteed. I give it 2 month tops then most of the casual Division players will leave. Plus uncharted 4 comes out in April so ps4 users will go there...

2 답변The division looks pretty good but I'm not quite sure its the type of game I could keep playing like I have so far with destiny, now when dark souls 3 comes out....oh man I hope that's good, THAT will probably get me off of destiny for a long while if I'm able to make the build I'd like to make

1 답변작성자: The Sword Logic 1/29/2016 4:16:41 PMLoving the Division. TBH I have burned myself out on Destinys EXTREMELY limited year 2 content. I actually blame Bungie for leaving things behind and taking away my favourite parts of the rewards (elemental primaries) but I realise like the chap below me that no game will hook me like Destiny has. Pretty much completed all the alpha had to offer me last night, but that was in 6 hours of playing rather than Destinys rather measely 2 hours. Anyways, this game WILL take me from Destiny, probably permanently, as in, no raids, no IB, no ToO unless I am completely done with the Division for that week, and I likely won't buy Destiny. Have a go on the Beta if you can, it's not Destiny, but it IS very good, feels great & you are constantly rewarded. Darkzone is a lot of fun, and feels so damn tense haha! I wondered in at level one with 2 friends, and we didnt leave for the rest of the night except for ammo, and barely explored at all! At no point did I feel I needed to be higher level, purely that my friends and I kept our eyes on the environment.

2 답변작성자: LagTime999 1/29/2016 4:30:09 PMIt's totally a different game..... Division is more rpg than a shooter, destiny is a shooter first with a bit of rpg on it, so if you are more pvp/fps type the division is not going to take you away from destiny, but if you are one of the many that thought the destiny was going to be this great rpg open world loot game (btw the ones that are usually complaining) like myself , then the division will certainly take you away from destiny.
-
Nah, it is completely different than Destiny. Destiny is an FPS with very lite RPG qualities. Division is a 3rd person tactical with heavy rpg rules. Even the bullets are dice rolls. Both satisfy a unique gameplay type. Personally, I shall be playing both with my fireteam.
-
I don't see how people can compare the two games. the division gives a lot that Destiny doesn't. But there's lots to love about Destiny that the Division doesn't have. It's going to be a good break for a lot of people. And it's sad that we're so excited about that. A break from a game. With another game lol But after playing the Beta. I'm beyond excited for the full release. It's going to be fun and that's all you really need from a game. For it to be fun
-
8 답변Exactly. It's not a bad game. But Destiny is a great game even with all its faults. I don't see any faults in the Division and yet it doesn't come close to the epicness Destiny has
