Matchmaking changes are now live in Iron Banner
Matchmaking changes are now live in Iron Banner. You can read more about the details in the blog post that is linked. Basically we have made some adjustments to matchmaking that should assign more emphasis to connection quality. Thanks.

Oh another thing, wtf is up with the supers. You should be able to kill someone with it. I use mine i hit someone with it and it barely does any damage, you shouldnt be able to get stabbed while your super is on and die i got knifed by a hunter onne time and died. i had super, and full health with shield on.

Connections are better. I'll give you that. Still not a fan of the SBMM which is still strong as ever. I see the same players on a daily basis it feels like. Good players typically get in 6 mans and because I'm pretty good at the game I get matched with those players because of SBMM. Out of curiosity I checked my recent matches to see the players I've matched since they "switched" the matchmaking in IB. Out of 7 matches I checked, not a single person on the enemy team had a kd below 1.2. I'll give to to you guys connections are better. Great. All you have done is make matchmaking better for bad players that hardly play pvp. The people who play a lot and got good at the game now have to play sweaty 24/7. I understand why you did this to matchmaking. Pleases more people this way. Hurts the few who play a lot. Now they are trying to get everyone to a 1.0 kd pretty much. Retards play retards. Tryhards play tryhards. I miss when it was a combination of each on each team and I had to try to carry for the win. I don't even see the point of it. If you get better you're experience will never change. My favorite part of games is having those 1 in a few games where you just wreck everyone, even if they are noobs. I have no expectation of them taking this matchmaking out, just like I have no intention of playing much more because of it. Trials is the most casual playlist now for me so I think I'm done with this game. Battlefront is starting to look like more fun. Even candy crush is more fun. :/

6 답변I would like to thank you bungie for the recent matchmaking update. This Iron Banner has been a blast to play now that the streaming-twitch-laggers are not matched up with my squad. My team plays at a pretty high level and now that most of the glitchy red bar players are gone, it's really starting to show in the outcome of the matches. It was so frustrating shooting people or chopping them up with the sword only to have them disappear and kill you. Now that most of the lag is gone we can back to just enjoying the game. [RFA]

11 답변Gotta say, after jumping into regular Crucible to test out the IB Scout Rifle (which is amazing), it's really obvious that, though the new matchmaking still can get better, it's a million times better than what we were dealing with. Relatively smooth and still competitive, as opposed to super sweaty and laggy as all get out. You still have some work to do Bungie, but you're very much on the right track. Keep it up!!!

Why don't you just put a cap min on connections and if any given time you have random drops (more then 1+) in your connectivity while in a match you get kicked, so when someone is low right red baring, they get kicked... that will make ppl A- get better/faster connection, B- NO MORE LAG SWITCHING.

Please increase the sensitivity. It only goes to 10 and I would like at least 15 to 20. Why are we still moving like clunky old Spartans? Please fix the raid drop rates, honestly year 1 and being forever 29 was better. Please release ALL TTK contant that we paid for, my face is a bit sore from you smacking it. Please fire Luke Smith. He is the TRUE ass hate of Bungie. Please fix your network coding. Activision has gave you the Hand Me Downs when it comes to servers. Please go back to your old ways of Bungie. This new crap is killing your name that you guys worked so hard for.

The match making experience is allowing for some fun pvp play once again. But I have noticed some players frozen in place at times like they are ddos. U can walk right up to them and although their health might be low you cannot do any damage to them. The first thing I checked was to see if there were anybody red barring. Everyone had green connection. Occasionally I've noticed one of my teammates frozen in place too and no-one was red bar either. This happened to a couple of my clan mates as well. Hopefully today I can make a video and link it here to show u.

1 답변So in the past 3 games of IB I've played I had the spark get literally right on top of it and it get caterpillared. Three full games that won't even count cuz Bungie can't fix their shit. How is one supposed to enjoy playing your game if they can't even do the -blam!-ing objective to help win the damn thing???? Better connection? Just more bullshit lies you're telling the public. Get this shit figured out or you're about to lose a metric ass load of players and render your game obsolete

I'm still getting lag, worse than before. And the teams are so lopsided it's either a blowout or an old fashioned butt-reaming. My connection is in the green... until I enter Iron Banner then it's all over the place. I just ran a speed test I'm at 36 meg down and 6 meg up.

Yes red barred crappy matches. 16 shots from the Mida to kill a player, unable to get near the spark to even try and win. Deej you have no credibility with me anymore. I've left more matches this iron banner or been put in a match that was down by 15000 points only to get killed as I spawn in before I could run away from the loss. I actually heard myself say"why do I play this game anymore. Not to mention that I have only played on 5 maps. Momentum, cathedral of dusk, black flag, banner fall, and to mix it up ever now and then pantheon. Really boring playing on banner fall3 times in a row, just to get put on momentum back to banner fall. Just have to quit out and try again for a little variety just to catch a laggy crap fest. Just lie to me some more about that top secret mathematical equation those second graders came up with for your game. At least you found some 9 year olds that would work for silver. What a joke!

Please create a ranking system that better matches players on teams for a more even opportunity. Handfuls of the games I have been a part of have had massive point differences. It obvious that not everyone understands, or cares to understand the concept of rift matches. Or, most people may just want to complete kill bounties. But, balanced heavys can be super unfair, just as much as being paired with a team that only wants to shoot at their rift or sit on an unmoving spark (suggestion; hint hint). Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback.

Joined my first game of IB for the day and as soon as I landed my team was given a mercy. Left that team of 6 and joined the middle of another game where I landed and was shot in the back by lmg then immediately got a mercy. Once again left and the same thing happened again. As a single player to join and leave after the match 3 separate times and be matched with a fireteam of 6 who is in the process of a mercy i feel that something is wrong with the new settings. I would have been ok with this for the 3 boons but I am already rank 5 on my characters and it's just a loss.
