Religious Posts in #Offtopic
We need change in #Offtopic's moderation/run of buisness ASAP.
Seriously, I can't open up offtopic without seeing a single religious post/"debate".
Normally, debate would seem perfectly acceptable, right?
However, these "debates" are like bloody warzones.
Everyone's purposefully trying to offend each other, and nearly nothing is being done about it. Sure, some threads are getting deleted. But these kind of threads shouldn't be allowed to exist in the first place. Bungie.net is no place to -blam!-ing preach.
I urge you to open up Offtopic, and go to one of these said "debates". Just look at it.
Every day, people go to this site/app and come here to play games, make friends. But if they scroll down too far, then some users definitely won't like what they see.
I don't know about you, but that doesn't look like a very nice "[b]community[/b]" to me.
Is this really what you want, Bungie? Are you perfectly fine with letting everyone offend each other?
What happened to the old CoC?
Ninjas, do you think that our current CoC is enough?

4 답변Moving this over to #Feedback and #Bungienet. Currently, you can always mute and hide religious or political discussions from your own forum view. The "mute" and "hide" features are perfect for topics/posts you dislike or disagree with which do not violate the Code of Conduct (religious, political or even discussion about pandas being a good example). If people are being toxic to one another and name-calling, or otherwise crossing the line, moderators here don't think that's acceptable. These "warzones" of disrespect you refer to can unfortunately manifest themselves in any type of healthy discussion. If that happens anywhere on these forums, even if you are unsure if it violates the Code of Conduct, feel free to use the "report" tool or even PM a Ninja. It helps us a lot. Thanks!

These forums haven't been the same since the overhaul. For a while every one tried hanging on but now that I come back, it seems like this place falls off from it used to be just a little bit more each time. There' no sense of community anymore. There isn't anything interesting or interactive. Maybe it's just me. I've taken part in my fair share of these religious "debates". But whatever Bungie did before to hook people and keep them posting, I think they've lost it. Maybe I'm wrong and they are just appealing to the new crowd more. Hopefully I'm not the only who feels this way.
