Weekly Update = Slap In The Face
What was that?
We need more content and you need to fix the PvE and PvP lag.
Let's give you Crimson Doubles (doubles was already a GD game mode) and we'll say the crucible is sweaty instead of saying what it really is; a laggy POS.
Way to not address a damn thing.
EDIT: My real point is they made a post saying they'd have a basic update which is fine but players are dropping like flies, YouTubers are posting complaints, Twitch players are going to other games, the forums are on fire and Bungie doesn't feel the need to address anything. When a company has the level of customer complaints as Bungie currently does they address it and say how the will fix it. Customer Service 101.

1 답변In celebration of Bungo's latest announcement, I started my own clan named "The Division is Coming" [TDIC] where my moto is "Come over to the live horse". Feel free to join in an effort to send a message to Bungie that there are other games out there currently that operate better and listen to there fan base. Note: clan name and motto subject to change based on how many crucible matches it takes for me to bite through to the center of my tootsie pop out of frustration.

My favorite thing is when I read one thread on one game site and read the exact same thing on another about a different game. I swear I just read this thread in the H5 forums. It was also a slap in the face. Gamers keep getting face slapped.

New crucible event? [b]NEW CRUCIBLE EVENT![/b] Buddy let me enlighten you as to why I quit and why frankly you should too! So you're excited frot he crubile playlist, tell me, why is this special? Did they add anything really substantial? Is this new playlist here to stay? So you're excited for the change in Iron Banner, again, did they do anything substantial (Meaning actually -blam!-ing add something that will stay in game more than a month). Is this IB new at all? Is it a new game type you haven't played before, or is it a new playlist reskinned... Next up we have fixed lag... Fixed -blam!-ing lag, are you kidding me? They have been selling Destiny as a [b]PVP[/b] game since a month after TTK dropped and people got bored of the raid. Don't belive me? What was the last event? Sparrow racing, PvP, what is this event? Double, PvP... So you tel me, if you are going to sell your game as a PvP game and say -blam!- PvE why the hell would you not have already dedicated servers? [b][i][u]WHY!!![/u][/i][/b] So either A. They are trying to sell you something as [i]New and Improved![/i] when it should've been this way, or they had no plan whatsoever for this game and when they realized. "[i]Hey our shitty events are all PvP, we should maybe dedicate some servers"[/i] seriously? If they actually thought this trough they would have realized. [i]"Our PvE won't hold them forever, we need good servers and new game modes constantly to keep them interested."[/i] yeah... That didn't happen. So you tell me, did they add anything that wasn't or shouldn't have already been in the game? Anything at all or did they simply reskin, and add something that should have been in the game before, is this seriously something to get excited over? People always make fun of COD, BF4, and Battlefront but think about it, you know what those games may charge for DLC and events but what do they do to keep people interested? Double XP weekends, sales on Mtn Dew cans that give you shaders and shit not just one mission that you can play once and say oh cool! No it is something you'll be able to keep forever and show off! They give you [b]GUARANTEED SATISFACTION[/b] people don't like guesswork, dammit if I wanted to hope and pray for something I'd go to a church! I don't want to sit here coming in from a long day at work and then get nothing for an hour or two of work. Seriously? At least I can level up and get a new gun in those games! I'll get a [b][i][u]NEW[/u][/i][/b] weapon that will help me in a certain situation, not a reskinned identical looking weapon with shitty perks! I understand some people will blow up about me comparing Destiny and COD, but remember I'm comparing the PvP aspects of the games. Those are my thoughts as a long time fan of Bungie, post hate love whatever I don't care, I may/may not defend myself to the hate, depends on how bored I am.

You forgot to add a slap at your wallet rd3. Remember when getting all the Halloween items required silver? Remember SRL and the only way to get all the sparrows was silver? Well here's round 3 now since it went so well. All I'm asking for is pay-and-WIN gears/weapons.

The game simply sucks now. Year 1 felt better. HoW was near perfect. Every update since then has made the classes and the gunplay worse. Crucially, your guardian feels like a wimp compared to the 'good old days'. This is not how you retain burnt out players, things should be feeling more op to the point of broken, not nerfed into the ground until half the abilities and guns handle like sloppy poop...

They don't care anymore. Most updates are focused on pleasing the community and fixes. This shows neither. They got enough money from the ttk to be happy. These 'events' are just ways to collect as much extra cash as they can. Loved the game but things change

3 답변Very soon, we’ll have more to share about a second, larger game update that will arrive sometime after February. There are more stories about 2016 that remain to be told, and you’ll learn more as soon as I get my own anxious hands on the full and final details. Same goes for the rest of the February update. Until it’s ready to be scrutinized under the spotlight, it’s all a work in progress. that paragraph has me excited.

2 답변Took a few months off the game and nothing has changed. Came back last week and played for a bit, did some PVP and found there was still nothing worthwhile to do. Figured maybe the beginning of the year would see some adjustments or changes/something new. Nope. In a way I'm glad, I no longer feel the incessant pull to log in and grind out the same content over and over or sit in the tower/go through the UI map for 10 minutes trying to figure out what the heck to do or wonder why I don't just turn my console off and go do something else. Fatigue is the best word to describe the state of the game now, it's become repetitive, recycled and bland. Back to other games for me such as Witcher 3 and The Division when that comes out. All the best to those who stay, if you enjoy it keep playing I suppose.

They just read all the complaints and say "Oh there is another one complaining, oh well. Guys i want you to come up with ideas on how to get people to buy silver, don't worry about a timeframe for it these destiny players are waiting for something that isn't going to happen."

Totally agree I have been a Day 1 Destiny player and there should be some sort of schedule as what plans they have for the next 3 months at least. So many important changes that need to be made sort out the latency/lag in PVP, more vault space, more quests, raids, more new weapons not just bringing back all year 1 exotics bit by bit so ppl grind out for them, Rift in Iron Banner is a total bad move by Bungie why not a brand new game mode. I just hope this is not Bungie's move until Destiny 2 comes out just bringing out events that last a week and that's it until next month Bungie cannot rely on microtransactions there needs to be more consistent content this is supposed to be a 10 year game yes the content isn't as dry as it was last year between the dark below & house of wolves DLC but I guarantee a lot of regular destiny players have high level characters and played all content earned near enough all exotics and its Destiny is drying out there needs to be a big content drop in March to compete with the division or Destiny might lose a chunk of their player base. I feel very disapointed with this weeks update, Bungie going quiet for a whole month and then not really announcing much no schedule for future content I guess there was a lot of hype for this update and made a lot of pp disapointed

1 답변Justified or not, I think people's reaction to this update still speaks volumes. People invest their most precious resource in these games (time), and more and more I see players feeling like Destiny was a waste of it. Maybe Bungie was honest about this update being small but that's not the point. The point is people need a reason to be drawn back into this world and, month after month, it never comes, and people get frustrated. +90% of any updates I read are about "balance this and nerf that and .04% this" but never anything about content. Well, finally here's content, a week long "event" with couples PVP and more emotes and shaders? Meh. Don't get me wrong, I like Destiny for what it is, which is basically just a big arcade game. But I mourn for what it was once advertised to be and what they continually try to convince us it will eventually become. Right now it's just a big, huge, empty shooting gallery with a few real cool engagements that are either no longer relevant to my level or I've done 30 bazzilion times, all loosely tied together by a razor thin narrative. It's just gotten stale... And watching your friends-list wither away to other games doesn't help. My hope is that Bungie can right the ship at some point and release something actually substantive and compelling that will draw players back, but the new "micro-transaction/crowdfunding" model has me convinced that won't happen before Destiny2. "Guardian-Date-Week" just isn't the way to build a rich, engaging, lived in world people continually want to return too, IMHO. Destiny is in a weird place, it's a PVP first-person shooter with great gameplay but debilitating tech problems. It's an MMO with a huge world but that world is basically empty and no new content on the horizon. It's an RPG with AMAZING lore and interesting characters but none of it is actually IN the game because of a completely gutted storyline. I just don't see any of that being fixed by dangling more emotes in front of your player base.
