Xbox vs PlayStation mentality
Why is it, when I agree with someone then look at their profile, that they are mostly(90% roughly) Xbox users? Has anyone else noticed this?
I swear that I make up my mind about the post before I check their profile to mute them and it is rare that I mute an Xbox user.
While I'm at it, does anyone else mute fairly often? Maybe I'm just an intolerant a-hole.

What about people who have both systems? I have an xbox one and a ps4, but play destiny on the ps4, I love both systems. Currently I play halo 5 and watch sling tv on my Xbox and play destiny on the ps4, but I will say there are Xbox one players I met on these forums who were pretty cool, and I wish I could play with them on destiny

2 답변I mute very often. But I don't base that on the console that a user chooses to play on. I base it on the content that the user posts. Take your post for example. It's an obvious bait post that perpetuates a console war. Instant mute in my book. And I'm an Xbox user.

I'm 32 and picked ps4. Last gen I had both and the only thing my PS3 did was complement my entertainment center nicely aesthetically, my 360 was the only one that got used. After a lot of research it seemed this time around ps4 was (and still is) the clear choice. When I was big into modern warfare for 360, a few of my friends who had it for PS3 swore hoe great they were. I would play at their house, not used to a PS3 controller at all, jump on a round of draft match and literally destroy everyone. Xbox had better players for that series at least.

If you like first person shooters and you own an Xbox, your main reason for buying Destiny is probably that you have a high opinion of the Halo franchise. If you own a PS4, your main reason for buying Destiny is more likely marketing of Destiny or just because it is/was a popular game that sounded cool. There are exceptions but that would be the typical case. This means Xbox Destiny players will tend to be older and more negative about Destiny - older because Halo came out almost 15 years ago - more negative because it is hard to live up to Halo. This does not necessarily apply to Xbox vs PS in general, just the two groups' Bungie forum members.

I've noticed a general trend that Playstation users have a tendency to be younger than xbox users. This is not something that I have evidence to back up, so my claim has no actual validity, but it is my personal observation. That does not necessarily make Playstation users more immature. I know many adults who could learn a thing or two about maturity from those they'd call children.

I honestly believe that most PS players don't understand how underwhelming Destiny PvP is - due to never having played a wellmade shooter. 2. The Bungie legacy. If you're on xbox there's a good chance that you've played Halo and if you've played Halo you're probably also familiar with Bungie from way back. Hence, you've watched the company go from being the friendly neighborhood developer to the current POS. The game aside, just look what they intentionally did to the site. We used to have a community with discussions and active groups. Then someone decided to take everything away but turning it into YT/reddit/twitter. Totally anonymous, practically no moderation and 99 % noise.

Between the beta and release I have never seen so many people complaining about something Halo players had to deal with for so long. The tanks were easy to snipe people out of or you used a turret, super, or heavy to take them out. Every single time I saw a post about the vehicles wanting to be nerfed, it was always PS.

We're all just gamers, everyone needs to give this console wars shit a rest. A majority of people only picked one or the other because that's what most of their friends were going with. Straight up there are a-holes, kids, scrubs and idiots on both consoles....maybe more on Sony because they've sold twice the amount of units then XB1 lol.

1 답변There are much more whiney squeekers on Plebstation. Seems like 90% of nerf posts come from PS users. Sure there are some scrubs on Xbox but most of us have been around since the Halo days and we just play the game. These forums only started going to shit when Destiny came out and the PS users flooded in.
