What does this generation think of a one world government? My view is that it is the next step the human race needs to take. I don't think it should be implemented immediately, but done gradually over the next couple hundred years so as not to upset cultural and religious ego and arrogance.
As the Internet and social communication evolve, I feel that people will start to have more tolerance of each other. Im sure in a short time, the Internet will be able to translate all languages into your spoken one whether it's text or speech, allowing us to understand each other better.
A single currency would unify all economies. I
I do not know however, which type of government would be most effective in implanting it correctly. A true democracy could, but there is no such thing.
Thoughts?
The masses must be in control.

1 답변Take a look at countries that are highly diversified in terms of race and culture. It's exceedingly common to find infighting and people crying out that their interests are taking a backseat to the interests of others. Now blow that up to a global scale. If smaller local governments struggle, how could a global government effectively address the needs and interests of all its citizens. If anything, there'd be more marginalization than there already is. As for a global currency, just talk to Germany about why they were thinking about abandoning the euro and returning to the mark after the Greece situation. Global unification is a nice idea but until the human race all get on the same page and share one homogenized culture, it's not a feasible plan.

16 답변Terrible idea. Look at Obama and America. He doesn't even share the same views as literally half the country and his agenda is relevant to everyone. What would a single government do to 7 billion people who don't agree on anything?

작성자: BlinksAlot 1/2/2016 2:43:44 PMThe un is the closest thing to a one world government and it is worse than worthless it is a detriment to the betterment of humanity. while it was originally conceived as a platform devoted to promoting freedom and preventing war crimes, it has instead enabled both tyranny and war crimes. this is because it was originally a union of decent democratic nations as opposed to the lopsided mish mash of democratic and totalitarian nations it is today. You can't promote freedom when nearly half your member nations aren't free in any sense of the word and you can't prevent war crimes if you admit war criminals nor can you come to any meaningful resolutions if you're made up of opposite ideologies. a one world government would need to have a one-world ideology and culture with shared values, clearly such a thing does not exist yet nor will it any time soon. so yeah a one world government is a terrible idea at least for the foreseeable future.

작성자: Vicex 1/2/2016 11:01:25 AMYes. Too many different cultures and traditions. You would be alienating a substantial part of the world's population with each decision made. And no- a true democracy would downright fail. To make such a government work, it would need absolute authority and freedoms must be non-existent.

the whole world would go to shit if you have someone in the goverment that makes bad choices and everyone goes with it... the whole world is done for because of the way goverments are currently set up, only small parts of the world are screwed
