So i was patrolling....
And while I was crossing the divide on my night rider.... I mean night hawk.. I happen to cross the paths of some interesting guardians wandering around. Upon closer inspection I could clearly see that they were new people. (Less than 2k grimiore. I even saw a few with less than 1k).
Seeing these guys leveling new characters that they probably started the day after Christmas made me remember my first days playing.
I started after thanksgiving last year, and I remember slowly climbing the ranks, and looking for a group to raid the Vault with, scared out of my mind because I had never done it before. I still remember using my Monte Carlo, and pulling a Last Word from my first exotic chest.
What do you remember from your Kindergaurdian days?

3 답변It's not my first memory, but I remember when the first chest in Crota which you could just walk to dropped exotics. I was racing to get those chests before that got patched

Thinking that the Queens event quests were way to difficult to do solo. The funny thing, I had a Ghorn already, it just wasn't leveled yet. I had no idea what I had sitting, unused, in my inventory. Who would use a crappy exotic rocket launcher over the Red Death, I thought to myself.

5 답변Being so bad that I couldn't even solo the Queens Wrath story missions so missed out on all that sweet loot early on :(

I remember taking forever to get rid of the Devil Walker (is that it's name...?). A friend and I approached this strike almost as a MGS mission, trying not to get spotted and taking enemies from afar with out non-sniper weapons. "Careful, that thing will one-shot kill you!", I remember telling my friend. I don't remember exactly how we finished the mission, though. I also remember the first time I tried to run Nightfall. I was lv 28, I believe, along with my friend, who was a lv 29. Man, we didn't even make it past the first wave of enemies. It was sad.

3 답변I'm a year 2 noob (got into destiny right before TTK dropped), and I have to day, it was getting my first exotic sword (raze Lighter) I was only like 293 or so at the time, and it felt so satisfying after grinding out the materials, struggling with the crucible kills and then the darkblade strike.... Damn, it was awesome. And, thanks to that sword, I was able to accomplish quite a bit (getting the Black Spindle, Soloing Crota, my first time through Kings Fall, etc)

2 답변Getting a legendary in skywatch and fliping out. I got icebreaker which i screamed like a little kid getting gally cuz it was my furst exotic.

1 답변Waaay back, a couple of buddies and I spotted a level 25 trying to open up VOG by himself, ended up inviting him and taken him through it. The good days of destiny am I right?

2 답변When I encountered a Praetorian as a level 19. I got rekt so hard. Came in a week ago and saw two level 15-16s meet a Praetorian. They got rekt badly.

5 답변Having a buddy shoot a crota worshipper when i was very low light. I died several times just trying to get a away. Shit just kept spawning and coming. He laughed and still does.
