So I'm going to be very straight forward about this. And I'm not going to hold anything back. Nothing but raw honesty here.
*deep breath*
So when I started this project at the beginning of the month, every thread I made about it was trending. Every single one.
Lots of support, and tons of replies.
The day I released it, (and subsequently since) I've received a storm of negativity.
Also, not a single one of the *actual* stories has trended, or the updates.
That being said, and *not* being the reason why it is ending, I'm going to explain why it will no longer continue on the BungieNet official forums.
This community is a toxic cancerous troll.
Not everyone, mind you. But the vast majority.
The amount of hate mail I have been getting.
The amount of hate posts on my new threads.
The lack of support (in underwhelming numbers compared to before) is just awful.
I don't have a desire to write anything more.
I don't have a want to make content for these forums.
I don't feel a need to justify my actions, even though I'm making this thread.
Now I'm not heartless, I will be continuing the project, just not here.
Some of you messaged me after Chapter Two did not come out.
I hope my replies satisfied you. I'm sorry otherwise.
So the band-aid is torn off. That's it.
Simply put.
This community is hate.
This community is toxic.
This community is cancer.
This community fornicates with trolls.
If I continue writing, it will be somewhere else.
Not here, probably not reddit either.
Somewhere where the site is dedicated to projects like this.
Maybe at that time I'll share a link to the new area, but till then, it's done.
I hope the graphic gif at the header suffices to display my point that I'm 100% done with it.
Can't wait till next week.
I'm taking off these chains and I'm going to eat trolls for breakfast.
Yours with sadness,
~Chelsea~

If you think your stories are written fairly well, then why should a 12 year old's opiniom matter to your artistic literature. (I am assuming you wrote a story.) And yes, you are mlst definitely right about the community, but you have to ignore the trolls and haters, because it will only get worse of you don't.

2 답변This community really is a decrepit pit of toxins, neckbeards, assholes, simpletons and trolls. To all people saying he is a pussy/drama queen, picture this. Some people handle hate/critiscism better than others. Crazy right? People with different mindsets

3 답변I cant tell if this post is serious or not. If one is writing for self, positive or negative external feedback is mostly irrelevant. If one writes for the art of it, and thus shares it with others putting it on display, be ready for criticism. If one writes for success, by whatever metric, you had best understand which is your target market. Successful writers figure this out early on and EVEN knowing it, eat unhappy words in the pursuit of the craft/product they wish to share.

The forum community is mostly shit and and the results of that shit, in the majority. The few users I see that are actually logical and able to hold a conversation without dropping into insults and pigheadedness are actually some of the most interesting people on this forum. So, it's a mix bag with the odds stacked against you.

2 답변작성자: FirefightinGamer 12/27/2015 2:37:12 PMSorry the community has had such an effect on you. I read an article about a youtuber who stays in a state of depression because he was wronged tremendously. It is sad how people treat others. The lack of love and understanding is the true downfall of a society, not people who take criticism to heart and make it personal. (I'm not saying that's you, just in general) I'm very sure many people have stayed away from Destiny or left it because of the negative influence on these forums. I will say however, I'm happy you are gonna continue. I look forward to the link if you provide it.

Don't be such an attention seeking drama queen. You're basically having a tantrum because your writing didn't take off. Maybe it wasn't any good, or maybe you just didn't draw in your audience. It sucks for you, but nobody owes you anything. No-one is obliged to make your topics trend just because you think they should be. If you don't like it, then either try again, or quit. But don't whine on here because you didn't get what you wanted. Kids so damned entitled these days...

1 답변작성자: Trolltastic 12/27/2015 9:32:35 AMThis community is a product of kids who received participation medals all their lives. They aren't good at shit so they whine about the mechanisms of the game instead of being able to see it's their skill that needs buffed. Stoners who connect with other stoners. Men who have no friends so they make "online Friends" Women who enjoy video games??? Idk why girls play this game. Couples who want to play with other couples. Trolls who want to fight over control of the bridge (aka forums). The rest are the incompetent people I find on LFG that have been playing THIS GAME for > 1 yr and still can't -blam!-ing jump. Bungie's greed also influences a lot of the hate here. Plus the the fact rng is broken.
