I've seen a few posts complaining that shoulder charge is OP, that it shouldn't be a one hit kill. I used to think the same thing back when I used only my hunter. After using a titan extensively (exclusively used titan in 2.0 crucible) I learned that shoulder charge is not op,in my opinion because you need to charge it for a certain time, and you are completely defenseless while using it.
The only time it helps me is in small very closed off maps that I shoulder charge through doorways, or jump over a wall and shoulder charge someone without a direct line of sight, but if they have a shotgun they can easily kill me.
Who here thinks it needs a nerf? I personally do not.

2 답변It doesn't really need fixing, but when you have that one Titan who just shoulder charges you the entire game and you know majority of his kills comes from shotgun shoulder charge. You get pretty -blam!-ing pissed. Had several matches against this shoulder charging Titan and I was pissed. Then I decided to switch to gunslinger and run double melee and that helped mutual a lot. To bad I'm absolute trash with throwing knife.

2 답변작성자: Eshian 1/1/2016 7:32:54 PMLately all I've been seeing is Midas, TLW, Shoulder charge titans with shotguns. I've always felt a strong correlation between trends in the meta and overpowered mechanics. While I'm getting sick of the Mida and TLW I don't feel that I am losing strictly to the guns themselves but rather to a degree of skill. But with shoulder charge I feel like I'm losing to just a broken mechanic, Ill explain. As a sniper style player there is little a player can do to defend against it. Jumping over them or backing off has only gotten me killed thanks to the slight homing that all melee attacks have especially when they do a small hop. The timing to dodge is minuscule, if you jump too soon they can adjust and jump to you, too late and you're dead on the ground. If on the off chance I do somehow dodge the shoulder charge most of these titans also come packing with a shotgun as backup to easily take me out while I'm briefly disoriented from jumping. Shooting at them only really works if I can see them coming from a fair distance, it's not impossible by any means however. In other words I'd have to be incredibly skilled or lucky to take out a titan using a fairly easy to use ability. I'm sure you can easily combat it by switching to shotgun, but I don't want to forced into a build I don't want to play just to fight shoulder charge. In my eyes shoulder charge combined with shotgun is ridiculously OP. When by itself it doesn't feel like it needs a nerf. While I don't think it should be unable to one shot players I do feel like there should be an extended cool down period or some kind of animation delay to punish suicidal play.

5 답변Shoulder charge is fine as is and if anything, needs some fixes. Honestly, the only thing that needs to be fixed is hit detection which is a problem on Bladedancer and any melee in general. But even so, it's still pretty easy to counter. If you see a Titan sprinting at you with no plans of shooting, your first thought should be, "I probably shouldn't stand still," and you should start backpedaling, unless you get caught completely off guard. And this is coming from someone who mains a Titan and has been since year one.

2 답변It needs to be fixed. The hit detection is so bogus that half the time it's just a noise maker when you hit an enemy.

1 답변Shoulder charges can't kill a Warlock with the ram, a max armor Titan, Arcblades, Sunbreakers, Radiance warlocks, Stormcallers, and an enemy in a blessing of light bubble. That is why we have Peregrine greaves. So no, shoulder charge is not OP, but it is fun. I'd pick that over a shield in front of my face.

2 답변Shoulder charge used to get used a lot more, and at one time was widely considered to be the "noobiest" thing for a Titan to use. Every Titan when he was new, used to run around control exclusively getting kills with shoulder charge, lol! I know I did. It kinda died down for awhile. Other things came along, like sun breakers for example. But now shoulder charge has made a comeback. Why? Because it is an extremely effective CQC killing machine and all the snipers looking down scopes are just BEGGING to be shoulder charged! If you snipe, I hope some badass Titan knocks your block off with shoulder charge ;-) It might be one of the last and only counters to sniping that HASN'T been nerfed yet.

PSA TO EVERYONE WHO THINKS A CERTAIN THING IS OP. Please please please try out whatever you call op. Use it for yourself and count how many time your successful using said OP versus non success. If you're bad with something that you think is easy/scrubby/OP then there's your answer. It's not OP.

I think they should make kill times 45 minutes and everyone just stands in the center shooting muskets and see if a bullet hits. Make it completely random so all you kids freakin shove your controller up your butt you rage so hard.

It needs a buff if anything. If a squishy warlock can survive a shoulder charge just by wearing an animal as a helmet, there's a problem. It needs to feel rewarding to get that close to another player without getting shotgunned from stupid ranges.

1 답변I thought it was OP when I mained a hunter as well. Now that I'm maining a Titan I can safely say that whenever I use it to try and get a kill it's a 50/50 chance of either succeeding or missing/eating some buckshot. You have to be very smart with it if you're looking for a kill.

2 답변Lol dude its like the titan blink. I hated it at first but just accept it. Snipe is meta anyway so just camp at a distance like everyone else and they wont get you.
