Exotic guessing game
This post was so much fun for me about a month ago, so I'm bringing it back. Leave your answers or other riddles in the comments :)
To start off:
I am a unique weapon.
Despised by many,
Loved by few.
Speak to the cripple, he knows the path.
Slay my leader, begin the journey.
I give you my oath, I will always be there
Fear not, my allegiances have long changed.
Pull me out when all else fails,
I swear I will look after you.
Edit: alright, someone has gotten it,(you know who you are) but I'm not saying who. Keep guessing, and don't forget to leave your own riddles for others to solve :)

While others rushed and camped, I defended you. Was I ever thanked? Why did I work so hard for you? I was always the backup, And that is all I will ever be. I was butt of the joke, Absolutely useless. My abilities were scoffed at, My stats insulted. One of my brothers excelled, The other was excluded, never allowed into the full group. I am a weapon of light, But I never saw the light of battle. I have returned recently, Hopefully I will be recognized this time. I am unique, I am not useless. My time is coming...
