Some people including myself ask for 317+ because ever since challenge mode came out noobs have been able to acquire 320+ gear even though they are horrible 317+ is the new requirement because it shows you have completed the more than enough times
Bump to save a noobs time
Next week will be 318+

This is -blam!-ing stupid and the main reason I don't raid. I'm more than capable of handling myself and taking directions. I'm sure I'm better than most of you high light level players. I can do it but refuse to subject myself to such trash requirements.

If I ever run into that problem I'll just stop raising. Not like the light level matters anyway, only useful in the raid(a bit redundant isn't it?) Not to mention, when the new dlc drops, all the grinding will be a pointless waste anyway(even more than it already is lol)

1 답변Sorry that I'm using my 320 shit to infuse other gear/weapons that are actually useful and have better perks on them. I run at about 314 most of the time. The difference is insignificant once you're over 310. I'll take people in my raid who can communicate, do their job, and act mature.

Completed? Or carried? Light has nothing to do with skill. Just RNG. Run it.. Pray for good drops. I've completed a challenge or 2, the raid once, my raid team doesn't play much and I refuse to LFG because I've had nothing but bad experiences. Doesn't change the fact that I know what to do and can execute no problem.

작성자: BlaQinci7 12/18/2015 5:42:41 PMIts meaningless, you can buy max light from the last DLC, so it shall be for the next DLC. Half of these vets have only been playing sense ttk. That level 40 day one players has skill not because of actual skill but time in the field. After 315 you're not really doing much more damage. to anyone else with these silly "you need this to play with me post" avoid them. You'll save yourself a head ache. We all seem to forget someone helped us all get where we are. Those who seek perfection only meet with frustration. Meet the world with an open mind, and the outcome will never disappoint you.

So light level = skill now? I tried oryx challenge last night with all 317 plus and each plate guy died numerous times from acolyte eyes, because they wouldn't kill the light eating knights and then the acolytes that spawn with them. Light level doesn't mean everything.

I stopped asking for light when forming a group a while ago. Too hard to pick out the bad players and the good ones that way. I just add a note saying don't suck or no bums or something. With all different ways of obtaining end game gear now, it's impossible to filter out people based on light.

1 답변Your argument is self-defeating. You say that "noobs" can acquire 320 gear, so you place a 317+ requirement to block them out. But if they can get 320 gear "so easily", then isn't your requirement pointless? According to your own post, noobs can get high-level gear. Therefore, your 317+ gate is pointless and your argument holds no grounds.

I think that 317/18 are a bit too high. 315 for a serious run isn't unreasonable but I will take less, particularly if it's an alt. I understand having higher requirements for the challenge because lower levels tend (so not all but tend) to have a lot less knolwdge and experience. I was in a group with all 313 or less and it went poorly. Had one complete with all 315+ and one that had 2 312s (one of which is from my regular group and the other was on an alt but had the ship). I was doing the raid from fresh to Oryx and our under 310 kept wiping us and led to fracturing the group. Though at this point more existences players can discern level of experience really quickly. I'm happy to take people on skill and knowldge more than experience but I'd prefer all three.
