I was wondering how you don't take the Crucible seriously at all? I don't mean that in a trollish, salty way. I actually want to know.
I have a competitive mindset, and so when I do PvP I want to win, yet my brother and a few other people I've talked to have told me that there is no point in taking winning seriously being as how you get the same chance at rewards whether you win or lose the match or whether or not you do good or bad in said match.
Every game I join I seem to get tamed up with people who simply don't give a damn about actually winning and treat every game mode as if were Team Death Match.
How do I get out of the mindset of a competitive player? I want to enjoy the PvP in Destiny but every time I try to get into it I just get filled with so much salt from the fact that nobody cares about objectives, or gives a damn about learning how to use an actual skill-based weapon and sticks to shotguns.
And please try to stay on subject. Don't read this then try to convince me that shotguns take skill to use because they really don't. There's no skill in camping a corner and then pulling the trigger when you see something move, or in sprinting up to someone and shooting in their general direction.
