9 답변For me I would love it if the removed it for snipers. I just think people can snipe way to easily

6 답변I would be happy as aim assist throws my shots off. I haven't been able to no scope snipers since halo reach. (Last bungie related game where I regularly got no scope sniper shots).

2 답변Aim assist is a necessary evil for console shooters. Controllers don't provide the level of precision that shooters often require. This is why you will see a lot of people strafe while they are shooting. One it makes you a harder target to hit but two the smaller movements you get from strafing make small adjustments to your aim eaiser. What aim assist shouldn't do is snap your reticle to your target. What I mean by that is if you aim down sights near someone, your reticle shouldn't snap onto your target. If you played battle field 3 you know what I am talking about. All aim assist should do is provide a window over an enemy where your sensitivity drops really low so that its easier to make fine tune adjustments to your aim. What destiny's aim assist does that I don't like is provided different levels of aim assist depending on the gun you are using, such as a sniper having different aim assist than a hand cannon or auto rifle. Or even with in the same class of weapons they have different levels of aim assist. If games are going to have aim assist then it has to be the same for everyone to keep it a level playing field so that it doesn't provide an "advantage."

1 답변Just remove it from the game so everything takes more skill to do. And I mean EVERYTHING.

11 답변They wouldn't take away aim assist. No aim assist doesn't work on Console. I don't think people really recognize how unbelievably hard games would be if there was 0 aim assist. Controls don't have enough precision to do that. Only on PC. But...if they reduced, do you wanna know something? There would be virtually no difference. All the players who snipe would still be taking faces. All the players who shotgun will still be blowing chests out. Nothing's going to change if they decide to lower AA across the board. people just use it as an excuse for walking into snipers lanes too often, & then blaming sniper instead of themselves.

Aim assist on primaries are nice. When you shoot above there head with Hung Jury and the shots hit because of how aim assist works in PvE. For those or you who don't know: In PvE if you aim at an enemy's head and aim a little off their head and shoot the bullet with be a headshot, but if you move too much off then you lose it and have to get a lock on their head again. This happens in crucible but it never happens with snipers. Only primaries. So yeah. Keep aim assist for primaries and leave snipers alone. The were the same in Y1 but shotguns reined ruler so no one complained. Just stop. Btw I don't have a 1000 Yard Stare. The one I got before in the quest I dismantled it because I didn't check the forums til late game and I don't PvP that often. I'm just a casual player.
My K/D is not because of hammers. To be honest with you I was shit with them. I did get 3 kills with it though to get the medal but hey, you be you, I be me.
4 답변I would be sour. Slightly off-topic, but I can name only one console FPS game without aim assist, and that's Quake Arena and that was helluva difficult to play. Are there others?

Besides the fact that they will never do it. I would not be mad, it would only force players to learn to aim better. But it will never happen. It would alienate those who are not very good, and they would leave because the game would be too difficult. The fact that the aim assist helps those will less skill play, is what keeps them here. Less people playing, are less people to buy DLC and such, which would be less money for Bungie. So I can't see them doing it.

4 답변Aim assist isnt really necessary in fps's, fps's almost a requirement for some 3rd person games like gta though

Well... Aiming is kinda hard, sniping especially on consoles. So if they took away aim assist it might mess with accuracy. They need to actually make hit boxes accurate and not make it so snipers can shoot near your head and it counts
