I don't think they'll remove aim assist given the fact that a joystick is so much more inaccurate compared to mouse+keyboard. And those who say they always play without AA on consoles I would suggest you try killing a team member in Halo 3. Then you'll see what it would be to play without AA on consoles.

I don't think people realize how hard a game like this is without aim assist. All they know is that they are getting sniped and think it's the aim assist aiming for people and so they get mad and want it taken out. I'm not saying it shouldn't be reduced.... But sniping would be impossible for anyone short of a pro sniper with no aim assist

1 답변Get rid off it. Almost killing an enemy....another jumps up/runs past and BOOM auto aim kicks in on the full health enemy and they both kill me.

1 답변Aim assist is strongly needed on Consoles due to the lack of precision a mouse can give u... this major difference in target acquisition on guns though needs to go...

1 답변Yes because it's perfectly fine the way it is. It hasn't changed from year one and no one complained then.

2 답변Very few console games don't have AA, but the ones that do are fun. I'd love it if they took it away, or just allowed me to turn it off. I can't count the amount of times someone on the enemy team walked in front of my target and my scout rifle decided to start tracking them. It doesn't take much to readjust, but that's a waste of my bullets and a potential death.

Aim assist is something that most console shooters have. Now you maybe asking yourself, why do pcs not have aim assist? That's because keyboard and mouse has so much accuracy that it doesn't need aim assist. Controllers on consoles, however, need some kind of help when it comes to accuracy.

3 답변1. We're on console, aim assist is kinda essential 2. I use fast firing snipers and I can still tear through people, reduction doesn't make me mad at all

6 답변It can't be done. You can lower it some but it's required simply because of the latency this game operates at and 30 fps. This is been stated so many times it makes my mouth hurt. Is there a reason why people fail to understand it and keep making threads like this?

13 답변Aim assist is broken down into two categories: Reticle Assist and Bullet Magnetism Reticle assist is basically sticky reticle. It makes your reticle stay a fraction of a second longer on an enemy as you move your reticle over them. Useful for primaries, but not so much for snipers since an enemy running in front of your target will pull you away just enough to miss their head. Bullet magnetism is what helps your shots land when it seems they don't. On primaries it is mostly their to make up for the various range changes Bungie has made over weapon classes (Bungie has confirmed that aim assist is also tied to your weapons range stat) Do I think that lowering this would be nice? Somewhat. I know almost all shooters have bullet magnetism but it does seem destiny has a bit more. Here however, is where snipers set themselves apart. They are not affected by bullet magnetism. Reticle assist still affects them, but aim assist does not essentially widen the hit box like people think all of the sudden.
