Edit 2: Never thought this would get trending, thanks everyone! It's very refreshing to see this community have a relatively civil discussion in regards to any aspect of this game!
Edit 3: Just going to place this here so as to not keep retyping it...
Exotics should feel epic. If everyone had enough of a variety to chose from of "over powered _______" and could pick amazing perks to build a truly unique character that closely fits their playstyle I believe we would find that no one thing would truly outweigh another. Rock Paper Scissors.
I honestly believe that is why everything felt so OP before everyone started crying NERF everytime they died, you were supposed to feel the difference an item or abilities power made in certain situations.
Edit 4: I wanted to thank everyone for your opinions in this regardless of if you agree with me or not, you are helping in this discussion and for that I salute you!
Edit 5: For clarification I am only suggesting a rollback on the things that have been nerfed, but keep all the buffs that have happened.
Edit 6: After a few hours of this discussion I have compiled a couple of points from various comments I would like to share, along with my thoughts on them.
- As far as the Mythoclast/Suros/Thorn/TLW debate... honestly I think that with every single gun in the game as powerful as they were to begin with it would create a much larger variety of plausible guns to choose from, while at the same time Bungie could be focusing their efforts on creating and implementing additional weapons to be given out through the varied events that occasionally pop up removing the need to constantly retool current items.
- In regards to the pvp/pve reprocussions of such a drastic change in mechanics I think a possible solution would be either to restrict this to pve only, or have the pvp aspect be restricted to a special tournament type event, similar to IB and ToO.

Yeah, I feel ya. Remove the Vex though, that thing was just unfair. Like... seriously -blam!-ing unfair haha I think it's mostly the radar. If someone knows the path you're walking, they'll just camp and snipe. Then they'll proceed to tell you, standing in one spot and pulling the trigger takes skill.

2 답변If they REDUCED RADAR DETECTION RANGE the game would fix itself. Soo many nerfs on weapons when they simply needed to cut detection range by 35-40%. The game would require greater skill to a certain extent. (Greater teamwork to be precis) Sniping and using scout rifles would still be lethal A.F., but only to the deadliest sharpshooters. As it is now, most maps are small enough that shortly after spawn you are already detected, giving snipers ample time to position themselves and "hard scope" you from long range or behind cover. Flanking a sniper would be easier since you could get much closer before you were detected. Auto Rifles and Hand Cannons would be useful in many more situations, shining in close to mid range engagements. Pulse rifles would be brutal at range still, but spread should be greater while hip firing. They still wreck mid range hip firing. If I fixed anything, it'd be this. Shotguns would be for close quarters fighters, The run and gunners; Or people running scouts or hand cannons that like a closer ranged weapon. Fusion rifles would be used a lot more, great for flanking and sneak attacks, and sidearms would be practical for numerous scenarios. Even heavy weapons would require a bit more skill. I can sit with my heavy, no matter what it is, and just camp a spot as soon as I spot red..ADS in and out and in and out and over and over until I see the target or it gets darker red and then wreck. Typically unsespecting heavy wielders get killed, not ones on the look out.. To me, it seems easier to nerf a radars range rather than every weapon class. Gives every class, subclass, grenade, melee, super, weapon a chance to sparkle.
