I had a argument with my friends and he said, "If we can breathe on the tower why ca't we breathe on other planets?" We had a whole 2 hour debate on this and I want to prove him wrong. After I asked him how you would get Oxygen he responded with,"Just Breathe!" I don't think if you stick your head in a plastic bag you can just breathe right?
So I need your guys help Message G***t R*****5 he is wrong.
Edit: Also he said, "How can we breathe on The Reef if were on an asteroid?" I asked him how can we have lunar bases, he responded why can't we have that for a planet?

And are very good at delivering it. -A hivemind of extradimensional, time-travelling robots who are more than a bit OCD. -Six-legged space-pirates who want their god-testical back. -Space-Americans. And you want to know how we breathe in high altitudes?

What makes you think guardians are alive? They're only reanimated by Ghosts. Exos are also exempt from this. As for normally breathing in outer space, you don't. You need a pressurized suit with an oxygen source, otherwise you'll die from more then just suffocation in mere seconds.

작성자: AdunSaveMe 12/16/2015 1:17:09 AMThe other planets were altered by the Traveler so we can breathe on them. That part is simple, it's a staple of sci fi. The reef's social space is a hollowed-out Fallen ketch and has a shield across the opening, which is in a grimoire card that I forget. It keeps everything in. We also have helmets and armour which provide life support. But no, you can't breathe in space, because it's an airless vacuum. Christ.

1 답변You should be able to breath on other planets because it says in one of the grimwars(I know I spelled that wrong) that it made the planets "habitable" so I'm not sure whether or not that includes oxygen or not so yeah but the other reason they were helmets is because it provides head protection

2 답변작성자: DeusDominus 12/15/2015 12:05:06 PMIn Destiny most planets if not all were terraformed so yes you can breath on them as their atmospheres now have sufficient oxygen to sustain human life and other flora and fauna. The moon was not totally Terra formed and the hive have made adjustments to it. The reef ships, platforms, bases and outpost use barrier technology to hold in an artificial atmosphere that sustains life there. The tower is on earth and earth's atmosphere remains intact. If the question is in regards to helmets then the answer to that is combat protocols our helmets provide many things first and for most is protection. You don't take off any protective gear when in a hostile environment with the possibility of a battle waiting around every corner and rock same reason we don't holster all our weapons when on patrol. Most of this info comes from the grimoire.

In the game Mars and Venus were terraformed so breathing is possible on Venus (hence the plants) and probably possible on Mars (all the trees look like they died awhile back). The Reef is a space station and has life support, it may appear to be open to space as ships come in but that may be due to a stasis field of some sort. The Moon still seems to be devoid of life and atmosphere due to all the bodies encountered are wearing spacesuits.
