You have to remember some subclasses have underwhelming supers while others have underwhelming skill trees.
Underwhelming supers: radiance, shadowshot, defender (for pvp)
Underwhelming skill trees: sunbreakers, gunslinger, stormtrance.
The underwhelming supers have amazing skill trees to make up and balance the game out.

Really? I think Stormcaller is a really well made subclass, every talent is a viable option and you can make some very fun builds. Gunslinger, Sunsinger, and Sunbreaker are really bad... Yeah all solar base subclasses have a boring talent tree IMO.
