"OH EM GEEZ! SPARROW RACING!!! YOU ARE SO AWESOMEZ BUNGIE!"
Is what we WOULD be saying.
HOWEVER!
The fact remains that you still screwed everyone over. You still sold a $60 INCOMPLETE game a year ago that got butchered and had missing components taken and repackaged to be sold separately as $20 DLC a pop. You did that twice. TWICE. So then it became a $100 incomplete experience because even with both "expansions" as they were advertised, the game was still hollow and felt more like a shell without absolutely any cohesion what-so-ever. It was bare bones.
Then you release TTK which you decided to sell for $40 and everyone is going on about how its such an improvement and that it makes the game complete. Really revving up that hype train for it. But guess what? IT WAS STILL MORE OF THE SAME CUT CONTENT FROM THE BASE GAME!
How... HOW does anyone get away with this crap? You took a $60 game and managed to squeeze another $80 out of it. And don't sit there and tell me that you've been developing new content for it because we already know you announced you had started working on Destiny 2 MONTHS ago. In fact if I recall correctly, it was already entering development around the time the Dark Below was released. I've NEVER seen a game drag out old content so much. Same goes for TTK, that content was in development before the game ever launched, Luke Smith said that himself in an interview.
And now Sparrow Races? First off, let's get this record set straight, it BEGAN with folks being suspicious and accusing you of CUTTING Sparrow Racing from the base game just like you did Player Trading and Gambling. It became all the more obvious to people when you decided to give everyone this thing: https://www.bungie.net/en/Armory/Detail?type=item&item=3703598457&itemname=EV-30%20Tumbler
In fact, GAMBLING was believed to have been a mechanic associated with Sparrow Races. This was before the game even launched, mind you. Its clear that this is just once again another example of cut content being recycled just like you're doing with the Year 1 Exotics. Just something "new" (not really) to toss out there for all the diehard "Dude Bros" to freak out and obsess over. This Hamster Wheel comes with all the bells and whistles.
Second? You screwed it up. Yeah, you really did. Because not only are you likely going to put a great deal of stuff for it in your in-game Cash Shop nonsense (Most likely all the things folks are actually going to want for it), but to my knowledge these races are going to be for TTK owners ONLY.
Its ridiculous. You're all about exclusion, its nothing but aggressive attempts to try and force people to spend their money. But here's the thing, people ALREADY spent their money. You have received MORE than enough for your product and instead of supporting the community and giving back the players, you just keep coming up with more and new ways on how to get as much as possible from the masses. Shame on you. This is NOT what Gaming should be about.
I said it before and I'll say it again. TTK doesn't get a free pass and neither do you. TTK doesn't get a "passing score" for being somewhat better than the shite that you sold throughout Year 1. ANYTHING would be better than that. No, TTK gets measured up against other games like any others. Matched up with Fallout 4, DOES The Taken King compare? Does the value of TTK for $60 equal the value of content that you get for the same price as this?
Trick question, the answer is no, it doesn't.
Destiny being an Online Game doesn't mean jack crap, at all. Destiny having PvP has absolutely no bearing on this comparison, either. We're talking straight up value. The amount of content in Destiny does NOT reflect its $140 price tag.
Dark Below and House of Wolves SHOULD have been free for Vanilla Destiny.
Sparrow Racing SHOULD have been included for everyone, TTK or not.
The Taken King SHOULD have been sold at $30 and the Eververse Trading Company NEVER should have been implemented. Ever.
Gamers aren't stupid, most of us are very smart and have VERY good memories much to the dismay of companies like Activision.
We. Never. Forget.
Its time you start doing something to take responsibility for all this crap.

11 답변I've seen this stuff all the time on the forums, and to be completely honest I'm pretty tired of seeing it. Is it wrong for me at this point to say I honestly don't care? At all? I'm completely and totally aware of what destiny has been doing. I've spent hundreds of dollars on this game. I could argue that my investment is even greater than most people - I was a day one player, I bought a PS4 just to play this game at the start, and I hardly use it for anything else. I could make an argument that I've spent Five hundred and Forty dollars just to play destiny. And you know what? In my opinion it was worth every goddamn cent. I've never spent a dime in the cash shop destiny has, and I probably never will. I know the issues surrounding vanilla, the DLC that had barely any new content. But TTK is a step in the right direction. Even this event, with all the flaws you point out, is a step in the right direction. Don't mince my words. The second I feel cheated by Bungie, I'm gone. I'm never giving them another purchase after that. It just hasn't happened for me. I've met developers of this game. They love their creation, and they want people to play it. They don't want it to be a failure. FYI, about fallout four... I've played that for about 15 hours, and spent 60$ on it. Destiny, even if we assume I bought a PS4 just for it, I've played for 800+ and spent 540. Destiny seems like a better investment to me right now.

1 답변Man you really need to put this in perspective. You sound so angry and bitter over what should be a small part of your social pastime. What you going to do when you get a real problem in life? It's a much more worthy cause than what you're trying to do with this. Albeit likely to not affect and change in the same manner because I'm quite certain no one meaningful actually listens to you anymore outside the same loyalists you have always had. What we need in these forums is relevant feedback. Not the same spin on the same subject from the same people.

11 답변작성자: Khaelen333 12/7/2015 1:11:41 PMYou know I agree that locking out content was a poor decision. And I agree that time gating gear we earned in year one was a bad move. But bungie and activision have to report to the people who paid for the game to launch. It wasn't you. If you want to call them on their bs then become an investor. This video game is a business for them. A way for everyone involved in its creation to earn money. If you don't like it then you can do exactly as you have and not buy the expansion. Do they come and tell you how to earn your dollar? Nope. Never have seen that in the weekly update. But sparrow racing was asked for by others in the forum and YouTube and reddit community and they gave it to us. So why not give credit where it is due for once. They did actually listen. Are they gearing up for destiny 2? Absolutely. Am I going to preorder destiny 2? Not even if I was spending your money. Do I expect it to be the game of the year? Maybe. Because they have to have learned something by now. Destiny is never going to be the game we wanted. That ship has sailed. It's time to pick a fight we can win. But that's just my opinion and you can ignore it as you will.

10 답변Move on with your life, it's a video game. A video game. Once more, a video game. Don't like it, don't play it. This is what Destiny is the sooner you accept it the sooner you might be happy and be able to continue living without it in the back of your head.

1 답변The many of us who bought the game last year payed to play a beta. The ones who bought the TTK "Box set" (I'm sure it was one disk) got a complete game for 60$. If you put Destiny, TDB, HoW and TTK TOGETHER you get a full game. The time gated crap is just that. Any "hidden" mission should've been discoverable without having to be a daily event. Legendary marks, these "un-capped" earnable marks, should not be shared between all characters, but earned through public events, strikes and dailies. 2/3 marks per public event. 5 per heroic strike and 10/15 for daily. By making them shared and earned through first three heroics, you made playing the game useless except once a week. Add some adventure by making maps completely explorable, not just big circles (lazy), where we can find things that start quests. Add "legendary" enemies we can kill the earn marks or maybe gear. Allow casuals a chance to get to at least 300. Some of us don't have 5 friends and don't feel like wasting time in your elitist LFG forums. With 300 light, you might get a group to run an unexperienced player. The game has a lot of promise, but Destiny 1 is pretty much dead to me. When Destiny 2 releases, I'll be watching EVERY gameplay and review, that aren't under Activisions thumb, before I rent Destiny. If its worth buying, I might, but why would I buy a game I can beat in a day or 2?. Give us an actual game, listen to ALL the feedback. And stop letting Luke Smith listen to his nieces for game designs..... I'm sure they are better then him, but come on....

You know it. I know it. But the 13y.o getting the game for birthday/Christmas/special occasion or what ever...does not understand this economics. And that right there is why the game is in such a diabolical shambles as it is currently. None of the content justifies the price tag and don't think for a moment that Bungie does not know this. They know very well. But they also see money flowing in to their bank account.

3 답변Boy... This is what gaming is now, the sooner you accept that the better. Halo 5 is a prime example of what gaming will be like in 2 years. A that has a half finished, awful campaign and has a multiplayer focused around the competitive players and how much money you can spend on packs to give you OP gear. Plus, Destiny would've been better if half their staff and lead story writer didn't leave half way through production so they had to hire a WHOLE lot of new people. The fact that the game is still functioning is an accomplishment in its self and people like you yelling at Bungie for something that happened over a year ago don't help at all. Your ranting is pointless.
