So I recently did the raid with a female gamer... And every word out of her mouth had " boyfriend " attached to it.
"My boyfriend does the raid every time my boyfriend isn't boyfriending like a true boyfriend! Oh!!! Here's my boyfriend now! Boyfriend boyfriend boyfriend."
Why is it that i, a respectful and honestly nice guy (unless I'm doing some competitive snizz) have to be treated like a common "are you boobies big!?!" Weirdo?
Help from the women of Destiny? I must understand! D:

2 답변My opinion on Girl Gamers: I DON'T GIVE A FLYING F*** WHAT GENDER YOU ARE!! Just meet my requirements: 1. Be able to hold your own in a solo battle (exception if you are being -blam!- by Wizards) 2. Be respectful of me and other people in the party or fireteam (exception if they are being complete a**holes) 3. Be strong (mentally more importantly than physically but whatever) 4. If you want to talk and/or kill enemies contact me through Xbox. 5. KILL ENEMIES 6. KILL ENEMIES! 7. KKIILL EENNEEMMIIEESS!!

It can be for a few reasons, usually after I raid with people I get spammed with friend requests and messages, maybe she didn't want that to happen. It also could have been so guys didn't say disgusting offensive things to her, I'm sure your raid group was nice but you have no idea how many jerks are out there. Or maybe she is insecure and didn't want you guys to think she was unattractive or overweight, because some guys actually assume that when a girl plays games. Lastly she could have had a really jealous boyfriend who stalked her messages and friends to see if guys add or talk to her and was worried.

I just dont understand why guys get all creepy and ask the most rudest of questions on xbox to a female......I am a guy and I don't care if your female or male I will show you respect and if you get rude to me then I will kick you out of the party and out of the raid cos that's the only time I use forums but where respect is given I hope it is returned and if your a female gamer I will treat you with the upmost respect as long as respect me and the other in party I will stand up and speak against those males who think they can get away with being rude and disgusting while I'm in party I mean show every player with respect and not treat females like a bit of meat you just found.....it's xbox not a f**king dating site! Sorry if my language is a bit much but it's honesty and how I feel about when guys hit on female last on xbox

3 답변Because many times when we are playing, some guys (usually the younger guys, but not always) can be disrespectful and downright disgusting. I end up not getting into a party or raid unless I'm playing with my husband, and he's been in plenty of parties where he's heard this stuff go on.

Because that is the common for most nerds on game consoles.. they hit on any female they hear in chat and females are sick and tired of all the males doing it. So now most make sure you know they have a boyfriend even if they really do not so you will not hit on them at all.

1 답변My girlfriend plays GTA 5 and she's the same way. But it's because every guy out there ads her and then tries to get a little too friendly... Asking for pictures and stuff. For Kik, snapchat, Facebook, etc... Can't really blame her for constantly talking about me. It's kinda creepy when guys always assume since you're a girl you must be into them. So yeah...she probably didn't want anymore stalker dudes going crazy over her

2 답변작성자: Zzephiris 12/3/2015 2:03:31 PMI've never pronounced the word boyfriend in destiny. And the title... What fear exactly? Saying the word 'boyfriend' won't prevent kiddos from saying shit anyways.

2 답변In my experience, a lot of guys treat destiny like match.com and are working under the assumption you are single without actually asking the question. As a female gamer I am just on there to have fun, make friends and have a laugh, I am not looking for anything else. So I guess she's just pre-empting anyone trying to hit on her. Saves any confusion...

Because there are more weirdos , than guys like you . Normally a woman will speak in a lobby and then all i hear is : send me a selfie or what are your measurements ....ect ....... Saying boyfrend is a scarecrow for the weirdos . Now do you understand ?

2 답변Anyone, either male or female that has to flaunt their sexuality is annoying af. Not just women. Men do it too. I believe it is their way of making themselves feel more important. Regardless, it is not necessary. It's a game, not social media. So yes, in the situation you described, that would annoy the hell out of me. But that does not mean all female gamers are that way. Take me for example. I kick ass at this game. Aside from that comment, which I said to make a point, I normally don't flaunt that. I strive to be a valuable member of any fireteam. And throughout my gaming career, I have become quite adaptable to any situation. And I brought that adaptability to Destiny. Thus making me sought after for any game activity (raids, strikes, PVP, etc.). Some of the idiotic posts I have read on this thread bashing women is just disturbing. It saddens me that there are people out there in the world who thought it was a good idea to write such garbage. Then I see the people who are just like "Wtf people. Girls are girls. I treat them like I treat everybody else." <- I like those guys. People should strive to be more considerate and accepting like them.

Yeah honestly unless your local I don't care about your marital status. Even if you were local, I'm divorced, old, and comical. I don't need attention I don't seek it out, but that's not the case for some. Mentioning her boyfriend to keep people away, or to let them know you got a social life and feel like flaunting it, there's no need too.
