The challenge mode is perfectly fine. It is impossible to pleasure people who play a game because it is their job. Doing something extra, or different, which gives extra loot. Thats perfectly fine for me, and many others who just play Destiny for fun and not milk it like a cow by being greedy and wanting more and more. Bungie stated way before that nothing will be added in the fights, it only might need you to change strategy.
