I have a really hard time deciding between the two when it comes to pvp. I've been playing the hunter since ever and pretty much always been bladedancing.
When ttk came out I thought the nightstalker was meh, but lately it has grown on me. That wombo combo, shadestep (!) and keen scout is really, really good.
The thing that makes this a hard decision is pretty much the lack of blink and quickdraw on nightstalkers. Since I pretty much only use the TLW/sniper or NLB/sniper combo that quickdraw is hard to live without in terms of a follow up on an occasional body shot.
Please, no "git gud" comments. I am good at this game :) I just need help weighing pros and cons here, thanks in advance!

3 답변Nightstalker is the most OP super in the game. The range on the tether. .. is incredible. Sometimes I'm playing on a completely different map and I'll get tethered from a seperate crucible match. Now that's range!

Despite the huge lack of hit detection on Arc Blade, I still prefer it to Shadowshot. I had high hopes for bloodbound on control to wipe out flags but it just never works out. Also as you said the neutral game of Bladedancer is very good. Its just annoying that I have to wear this ugly third man helmet to make my super's duration even compete with others. I liked it during year 1 but I really want to start using some legendaries now.

1 답변Nightstalker rewards skilled players with good aim, while bladedancer rewards both types of players if used properly. Poop tastes funny if eaten with an elite from halo that has just become the arbiter for some other alliance .(not covenant) maybe it's because of the spiritual connection the poop has with its master.

2 답변I run Bladedancer with TLW and Stillpiercer in PvP, Gunslinger with TFC and Stillpiercer when going solo in PvE, and Nightstalker with Zhalo and Stillpiercer when grouping up in PvE.

작성자: ChiknStrips 12/4/2015 4:10:34 PMFor 6v6 I play Gunslinger with Double Tripmines, Double Knives, TLW, and 1kStare. For 3v3 I play BladeDancer with Blink, QuickDraw, BackStab, Hungering Blade, and Skip Nades. I run Suros Pdx45 and Invective For Trials I run NightStalker with Vortex/Envenomed, Quiver, Lockdown, ShadeStep, and Sealed Grasps. Last Word/Sniper (looking forward to Mida w/ Better Control and Bones of Eao for my NightStalker)

1 답변Nightstalker has the best neutral game in the game. While quick draw is an AMAZING perk.. especially for snipers, blink isnt all that anymore. The cooldowns can be annoying to deal with. Shadestep is what seals the deal for me, while shadowshot can be tricky to use at times, you gotta admit, blade dancers super has gotten REALLY annoying with all the short stops and times where you are hitting people and it's not registering. Id say go nightstalker for a while. Blade dancer just ain't what it used to be.

1 답변It depends what type of player you are. If you're more tactical and passive, nightstalker is your type. If you're more reactive/aggressive (fast twitch skills) then bladedancer is better. Nightstalker handles slower than bladedancer but has more tools to compensate.

I'm in the same boat. At first glance I was thinking I'll try out nightstalker but still main gunslinger. Then I discovered how awesome keen scout, smoke grenades, voidwalls, and shadestep are. That, and shutting down Titans is always fun. Personally I switch it up every few games. Got all the gear I need for all three subclasses, and I find it pretty efficient if you know how to adapt well.

Um.. git gud? ;) I've been running nightstalker pretty much non-stop since TTK released.. but prior to that I would run bladedancer for PvP. Blink and quickdraw is hard to beat, but I think the decision is situational. If you want to play offensively and get up close and personal, I'd run bladedancer.. if you want to play a bit safer and defensively I'd run nightstalker (though of course you can use it offensively too, if you play smart.) I prefer nightstalker for pretty much everything I do these days, but now that I'm thinking of it I feel like taking the bladedancer out for a spin. The lack of an attachable grenade on the nightstalker is my primary complaint of the subclass.. the bladedancer's flux grenades are my favorite grenade to use in PvP, out of all the characters. I am looking forward to the Tarantella chest armor coming out soon, I can't wait to see if the armor and super charge times are greatly increased and worthwhile. If so, I may be bladedancing my heart out very soon.

3 답변작성자: h00ded0ne 12/3/2015 3:22:48 PMPersonally, I think Nighstalker is an underrated PVP monster, but people think it's super is underwhelming. Obviously, there are better supers, but the subclass as a whole is really strong. Bladedancer took a big hit with patch 2.0 and I think a lot of people have given up on playing it in PVP. I definitely see more Gunslingers now and far less Bladedancers. Nightstalker Pros: At least two usable grenades Triple jump (same as Gunslinger) makes it one of the most agile Can be natively spec'd to have two smoke charges that are both attachable and damaging. No other class has anything close to two attachable grenades and a third in backup. Keen Scout is one of the pest PVP perks in the game accross all subclasses and almost feels like cheating. Shadestep............so much salt Nighstalker Cons: Shadowshot is a super meant for mobs of enemies but at least it can OHK and can be natively spec'd for three shots. Really, when you think about it, it's not really that much of a negative, Hunters are just used to supers have low risk activation and high reward output, whereas Shadowshot is high risk activiation and low reward output (similar to Fist of Havoc and Nova Bomb). To be honest, I'm not sure why you would even consider using Bladedancer anymore except for certain circumstance or game modes. Gunslinger and Nightstalker outclass it now.
