I mean, background checks and making it harder to get an AR-15 style rifle is understandable. Catalog who has those styles, things like that. But not too Overboard.

3 답변Please tell me how this shooting was different from gun free Paris? Actually ill tell you how it was different! Across the street from were the shooting took place a buisness AND gun owner locked his doors and waited outside. If the shooters had left the building armed like they did in paris they would have been killed. Maybe not all of them but even if we got 1 in a body bag that would be better than were we're at now. The shooters never left the building with their guns though. Infact after they went in we dont know where they went.

Say what you wanna say and continue to beat on the same drum... GUN CONTROL DOESNT WORK!!! If you really wanna prevent a mass shooting or at the very least be able to defend yourself in one, go out by a gun, get proper training and get a concealed weapons permit. Enough people have them I guarantee they won't happen nearly as often! Look at Paris that's a "Gun Free" country and they just had a mass terrorist attack/shooting, it doesn't work! People can say "well it worked in Australia" nation wide they had 600,000 guns bought back/confiscated, we as a nation sold 175,000 guns on Black Friday. In one day we sold nearly a third of all the gun confiscated in Australia. We have over 230 million in our country, get used to them cause they're not going away anytime soon. And to everyone who reads this I live 45 minutes from where this took place, and I have a concealed weapons permit, it's a crazy world and if you're old enough to go out and buy a gun you should but only do so if you're willing to take the time and properly train and know how to use it!

5 답변They also had bombs that you can't buy in a store. It's not easy to get guns in western Europe and yet look what happened in France. The idea of gun control in America is outlandish and idiotic. It won't stop anything. Criminals commit crime when they feel they can get away with it or when they feel the punishment is nothing but a slap on the wrist. Our prisons churn out worse criminals than we send in, our education system lowers intelligence, our media feeds it, our leaders talk around it, we treat mental health like a black sheep and the rest of us are left wondering who's gonna pay this bill that keeps getting bigger and bigger. Fix the judicial system, fix our corrections, get rid of common core, bring back the values of Walter Cronkite, bring back the bravado and can do of FDR, lets put some real work into treating the mentally ill and start to get a hold of the budget gone wild. Fix these issues, the crime will go down and the shootings will become less prevalent. And just what is proper gun control? Is it assault rifles? Hunting rifles? Pistols? Shotguns? All guns? I agree full auto and 50 cal. are ridiculous. Stopping me from owning a semi auto AK when I know the gang bangers down the street have modified Mac 10's (which are illegal to own period) you're insane.

7 답변Here is the problem with gun control, the criminals do not care about laws. If a country has no way to legally buy a gun they will buy it illegally. You cant buy bombs in a store but they had bombs.

7 답변I see a lot of arguements supporting the right to bare arms. But not a lot of sensible solutions. Ive read many peoples comments talking about the 2nd ammendment. Is this really something you need to cling to so strongly. Hell, it was written in an age where slavery took place. You fixed that, surely you can fix this.

This fear culture perpetuates paranoia and in turn violent acts fueled by paranoia, seriously anyone from any other country other than the states listen to their news for a day, it's fücking terrifying

12 답변Easier said than done. We have an amendment in our Constitution that some argue prevent any restrictions on guns. I disagree. I would argue that you could implement reasonable controls. The problem is the far right do not listen to reason on this matter so we cannot have a conversation.

They just wanna kill people and then usually themselves. What we need is to fix our people. They're ignorant, undereducated and stuffed like a turkey with vapid culture. Our people are the problem. Our guns are our right to protect ourselves and to rebel against a tyrannical government. God knows we won't do that, the necessary steps have been taken. Our youth used to revolt. Now we're fat, docile, too stupid to know what's happening around us. Only focused on things like.... Facebook and Dancing with the Stars... And the [i]Kardashians[/i].
