THE CHALLENGE MODE IS ACTIVE
The challenge is following: different ppl doing the aura everytime, you cant screw up the aura(letting the time go to zero so you die. You should probably not screw up the glyph secence.
The rewards are for normal: 310 artifact, 310 heavy or special and fragment and normal warpriest loot. And new emblem
For hard mode: 320 artifact, 320 heavy or special, fragment and hard warpriest loot. Abd new emblem.
If you do hard mode before normal mode you'll get both normal and hard challenge drops.
Wiping is possible if you screw up the aura.

3 답변Day one player, who always defended Destiny from the haters because I thought it's an amazing game. But this is seriously challange mode? I'm seriously disgusted, this is absurd. Cheap horrible ploy to keep everyone playing.

3 답변Well, its seems Destiny is still trying to give you the same content with a different flavor. I honestly hoped that they would develop something more interesting instead of making the game more "challenging" by making you grind more. In my humble opinion, they could have done more in the raid by adding an additional boss for example if you team decided to go in another direction, like when you got the black spindle. And you could do that by opening a door by coordinating switch pressing or by jumping into another area with those invisible platforms. I think the player would have enjoyed more the challenge if we were to face something different and something new. We know you have the capability of adding things to the game. What we don't understand is why you keep recycling the same environments. Not all of us enjoy the fights with the same boss more challenging because you change the mechanic to cause damage. Most of us prefer a new challenge with something new than just face the same content. It has been almost 3, maybe 4 months since I played Destiny and I still visit the forums with the hope to find news that Bungie has realized that they have something good here with Destiny, but they only have a window to improve things for everyone before they loose the majority of their player base to upcoming games. Please get to know your player base Bungie. If you don't make things better you are going to keep bleeding players out. I know you are capable because when you introduced the last DLC you introduced changes that were expected since the vanilla Destiny, and we all like it even if it meant having to dispose of our hard earned armor. So please don't be stingy and your player base will be loyal to your game. Again, just my opinion.

4 답변WOW so they actually TIMEGATED each boss... How cool is that? So basically one has to wait 3 weeks (golgoroth, sisters, oryx) until one can beat these "challenges" IF one is lucky and gets different bosses each weak... Sounds a little pathetic. Here is another idea for a months worth of playtime: each boss spawns a couple of additional majors and synth cooldown increased to 6 minutes. Lets call it "Ultra challenge mode" and here you go.

1 답변I just got done with the challenge earlier this morning, something that could contradict about what you said. Edit 1/ Edit 3 - My reward status: Calcified Fragment / Worm Gods' Servant Emblem / 310 and 320 Numinous Web (Warlock Artifact) / 320 Harrowed Quillim's Terminus (Raid LMG) / 310 Defiance of Yasmin (Raid Sniper). Edit 2 - Don't know if you need different aura holders each time, (probably so). Don't know if deaths or rounds matter, i finished it in 2 rounds w/ 2 guardians down by the 2nd round. More knights do not spawn (at least at top). Edit 4 - You can lose the aura (die w/ the aura). I think the 320 random drop is true, but i also think that each weekly challenge comes with a weekly 320 weapon or armor reward.

What Bungie should have done is added Nightfall modifiers that rotate/change every time the same boss challenge mode comes up, while keeping the integrity of the new mechanics found within these challenge modes. For example, The Warpriest challenge mode for this week could have had Berserker, aka the Angry modifier, which would make him very difficult to beat. Golgoroth could have something like Chaff, that way you can't tell when a Cursed Thrall will sneak up on you while you're DPSing the boss, all the while of keeping whatever challenge mode mechanics Golgoroth brings us. Then, Oryx could have something like Grounded or Epic, while keeping whatever the challenge mode mechanics brings us. Then the modifiers rotate everytime. I'm not saying that challenge modes have to be impossible, Bungie, I'm just merely saying that instead of adding one measly little mechanic that barely makes a difference to a fight, add something to help the enemies we fight; that way it'll be easier for them, and harder for us. From what this challenge brought I can only assume that the thought process behind the challenge modes will be to force players to do all aspects of encounter. So I expect to need more than one runner for oryx. But then again, who knows.

4 답변10-15 minutes per character to complete. "Challenging"? Absolutely Not. It's almost the same thing as Hard Mode. We didn't do anything different except for killing 3 more knights? maybe? I don't know. Did Bungie do the right thing with drops? Yes! 100 million %. Everyone received: 320 Artifiact 320 Special or Heavy. And then some... I did it 3 times. Have a 319 Hunter now. Guessing and Hoping next week will be 320 armor drops.
