Just called out a streamer for smoking

I then started to saw 'Eww' and stuff like that to make her quit smoking. Since that's what your suppose to do.
She told me not to tell her how to live, but I said its your lung's loss.
She got pissed, and I felt bad for her. Poor smoker.
Edit 1: Yes, I realize it was vape but
Vape is still dangerous, it also can influence bad behavior and she was streaming to KIDS too. Who might get ideas from her, she should be more mature and smoke off-stream.
Vape is less dangerous than the real thing yes, but can still damage lung tissue and other things I forget. Will link multiple credited sources if you wish.

11 답변Don't get why people feel this moral obligation to actively shame smokers. If they want to do it then its on them. If you drink, eat junk food, spend several hours loafing on the couch, regularly undersleep or anything of the sort, you'd be a hypocrite for lecturing someone on smoking "because it's bad for your health." I'm sure you'd get pretty annoyed if someone gave you a lecture on obesity and clogged arteries every time you picked up a burger.

No matter are life choices, we shouldnt judge others from what they put in their mouth. Most of us have the cognitive ability to make choices and live with the consequences if presented with any. No need for a third party to express their opinion on the matter when it isn't warranted.

6 답변You know what doesn't help a smoker quit? When people say, "You know smoking is bad for you, right?" Take it from a former smoker. It's probably the most annoying thing you could do and it almost makes you want to keep smoking just to spite them (sounds stupid, I know).

Telling someone to quit or if you try to embarrass somebody it won't make them quit. It will only make us do it more. And it is really immature to try to embarrass someone. When I smoked, if someone started coughing to make me feel bad then I would just blow it in their face and tell them to step back a few feet.

Propylene Glycol or "PG" or Vegetable Glycol (VG) is the chemical in e-cigs that people are concerned with. This is the exact same thing we put in fog machines at kids Halloween parties. The vapor is created in the exact same manner. Now everyone is in an uproar because they do not realize how hypocritical they are. They will fill a room with the exact same vapor without the child's consent or the consent of the child's parents and think its cute that the kids are having a great time, then condemn others for doing it willingly.
