Real dilemma with ISIS
As a major power house, the U.S. can easily dominate ISIS, not to mention the help of; the Syrian army, Iraqi army chinese army, France, anonymous, and possibly russia. So this raises a question. Why dont we just bomb the middle east back to caveman era? We dont rely on them much for resources anymore and half of them want to kill us. However, there are innocents and allies to the U.S. such as Saudi Arabia. I've been giving this serious thought and i am still unclear as to what should happen. What do all of you guys think?

That would be like the north bombing the hell out of the south to get rid of the kkk when they were a major problem. I doubt most of you would be ok with that because many innocent Americans would be killed, so why would you be ok with bombing the middle east and killing Innocents?

Because the way we have been warning of bombs is through Pamphlets Air dropped Accessible by anyone We warn to move to somewhere for safety, terrorists get pamphlets too They flee to safety We destroy their land They get pissed and attack more forcibly. They say a wolf gets more deadly when backed into a corner. Same concept.

2 답변One thing though. ISIS is spread out around the world. It would take decades to find them all. simply bombing them wont do much.

The US can't front an attack like that. Countries like Russia are very much against American involvement in the that region. Several countries together, such as the NATO or the UNSC, need to come together for action. Unfortunately, it's not even that simple.

ISIS just wants to start a war sooo bad it hurts, but, I doubt it'll happen, I don't think we'll be seeing the USA going into war until Obama is out of office, I doubt he wants to go out on a war. We can't just bomb the Middle East as ISIS is just a minority the entire population isn't a militarized army just waiting to murder everybody, they're innocents and killing them makes us just as bad as any terrorist group.

3 답변What? And risk killing civilians? Most -blam!-ed thing I seen. Sure they're bad people, but just dropping bombs there does not solve anything. There are also people who are not associated with ISIS.

3 답변Did you just ask for advice about whether you should bomb innocent civilians or not? I'd say not killing innocent people is probably one of the most basic ways we differentiate the good guys from the bad guys, so my question to you is which one do you want to be?

They should have never over throw Saddam. He was once a great ally of the west. Where was the public outcry when he used chemical weapons against Iran. An enemy has to be manufactured. As an excuse to funnel all our money into this ridiculous military industrial complex.

1 답변To defeat ISIS, the Middle East needs a culture change. Primarily, less radical teaching of Islam; and more peaceful teaching of Islam. Education, progressive thinking, and tolerance could go a long way too.

2 답변I think ISIS and the issues in the middle east require an international effort that will take decades. Simply bombing the shit out of them is only going to further radicalization and further demolish their infrastructure. I do think we need to take action, but I also think we shouldn't be the only power involved and the only world power footing the bill.

7 답변it's amazing how people know so little about military strategy. wars are won with boots on the ground. a massive ground force committed to a long occupation i.e. 75-100 years is needed to fix this problem. if you haven't noticed we still have bases in Germany and Japan ffs. Look how Vietnam turned out, and we bombed the living shit out of them.
