Interviewing for raids *** UPDATE CAMPAIGN***
Looking on the forums today, for a fresh raid. Found myself being interviewed to prove the fact I worthy. Is this what we have come too? It's a sad day, although not as sad as the players who feel the need to vet guardians.
Update; Do you know what I think it is? Looking at the forums requests, are getting more and more specific. Is the ability to beat a game, without following a rigid pattern a lost art???

I've decided to call crews with too many demands out. From here on in if i see what I feel are unreasonable requirements I'm going to politely ask them if they require tea and biscuits. Come on join me in some T, n biscuit action (see what I did there t bag, T n biscuit)

Some serious raid guilds on pc mmo require you to write a cv and commit at least 3-4 regular nights each week to beating the current content. Destiny is child's play in comparison. You also have to do an interview and you'll be out in the team only on a temporary basis to begin with.

Even people having the hard mode emblem isnt a guaranteed good team these days. Surprisingly, theres people out there with the emblem that still dont understand counter clockwise, or the difference in dynamic and static platform rotation. If your gonna invest time with people on a raid, you need to know that they understand the basic mechanics and have your back. Not everyone is a sherpa, and not everybody should be, we have youtube. If lots of people didnt try get in groups and just wing it/get a carry without first learning anything, we wouldnt have to impose such restrictions. The more info people know the better. If you go into oryx with everybody knowing the mechanics inside out, you can easily go a man or 2 down near the end and still improvise and get the job done. If you have the usual panicky morons who run around clueless and jump off platforms early and shit, this doesnt happen. The raid is a grindfest, if you want a quick run, ask questions and build a good squad. Ps. Youv'e obviously never been called to stormwind tower for inspection before lol

1 답변I was with a group last night and 3 died halfway through Golgorath and we 3 manned that shit. We did 3 rounds of taken after everyone died. It was clutch. And insane. Tells me something about the team though. First, that they died on the easiest fight in the game. And sexond, that me and one other person took half of his health down and didn't need the other 3.

"LF2M somekindaraid need 1 healer will check achievements" So we are suppose to just take a fresh never done person through ... to be nice? Make your own raid group if you dont like requirements. There seems to be some people that dont like it so have at it. Im sorry but this just screams like "mommm bobby (Bungie) wont let me play with the fire truck" *mom* "share the truck with your friends at the park" -blam!- that bring your own truck or go do something else. The crying needs to stop when its in your court to make your own.

7 답변There are more of us than them. But I understand, it's part of the reason I absolutely hate raiding. When I decide to attempt hard mode (maybe), I am going to use the recruitment section and make my own demands. Be newer to hard mode. If you rage or disparage, get kicked. If you can't laugh and have fun when someone takes 30 attempts at the jumping puzzle, get kicked. I wonder how I'll do.

lol I hate to be a douche bag about it. But i don't like doing a raid that lasts 4 hours or longer when i don't die or hold the team back at all and doing the most damage. ill help out new people some of the time when i actually have time to do that.

1 답변It's this new dumb trend called trolling people think they are funny by doing dumb shit on the game. I joined a raid and the host thought it be funny to kick me mid raid because he wanted rage to come out.all I did was jump on forums and found new team and beat raid before the first group. Next attempt I get raid group who were all below 310 who were in there post asking for 310+ btw and I joined they start saying for me to put on Emblem or I get kicked so I did and they go oh he's legit let's start. I say bye they start saying don't and I find new group

I think a short quiz is perfectly acceptable. There is nothing wrong with ensuring the person joining the team is competent. Better than inviting random people, and spending hours wiping on content because the person didn't actually know the encounter.

That's the beauty of LFG tho. I can understand both sides. If someone has outrageous requirements, a lot of times you wanna stay away from that anyway. 8/10 groups I've ran raids with that has outrageous requirements have been stuck on a certain part for awhile and think other people are the problem. At the same time, I make requirements because I don't wanna spend hours on something that should take a few minutes at most. If I wanna take in new people i will, but that's not all the time. Granted it won't be anything outrageous, but you get the point. Also, just a quick story. Got invited to a raid earlier, normal sisters. Looked at the people in the fire team and 3 had hard mode emblem, 2 had normal mode emblem. It's normal mode so I'm thinking it's gonna take 5 mins max. I get in and we already have people telling what to do and shit. I ignore it since I don't need it, just helping out. Guys get to platforms and I'm on adds. Everyone says they've done it. Runner gets torn, everyone goes up, no problem. Kill the first sister. Next guy gets torn and he has NO IDEA what to do. So he just wipes. His explanation was he doesn't know how to do this part, mind you he has completed the raid. 2nd run, new guy gets torn. It takes him about 30 secs to get the relic. We kill 1st sister then adds. Another new guy gets torn and he doesn't know what to do either. He doesn't know which platform to start at and it overall takes him about 45 secs to grab relic. Once he grabbed it, he couldn't even make it to us so we could stay alive. This happened for about 7 wipes before I left. TL;DR: LFG is here for a reason and you don't wanna get stuck with these ^^ type of raiders.
