1 답변HoW For 4 months all content was relevant, all items could be endgame light / attack and we were all in charge of our own "legend". TTK was initially full of promise but ultimately a let down

1 답변House of Wolves tbh. > Run Nightfall. > Run VOG > Run Crotas End > Run Prison of Elders > Run Trials • Lots of customization; as any of your gear could be end game gear. • Trials was fun, to me at least.

Beta / year one player here and this is kinda hard for me to answer. As far as endgame, there was so much to do when HoW was released. You could get amazing weapons and armor that you actually wanted from 7 huge events. VoG, Crota, PoE, IB, Xur (yes he used to be that good) nightfall and ToO. All stuff you wanted and had a chance to get it 3 times every week (almost, being if you had three characters and if Iron Banner rolled around that month). Two raids and Elders dropped weapons at the right values (etheric light from Elders fixed any that were lower keeping the raids relevant) So much to do and acquire. TTK rolls around and offers solid quality of life improvements. Better systems, bounties, story and the like, but after the shine wore off, it was obvious how much we were now missing. Now, the exotics are balanced to the point of being bland, are time gated, out of the typical loot table or flat out missing for no reason what so ever other than to be released as new for the newbies as a content '"update". Xur hardly ever sells a weapon or anything that we really want. The strikes are severely limited in number and we only have one real raid, not to mention the nightfalls drop utter crap. My favorite game by far. But every iteration, its two steps forward, two steps back. I can't decide what to choose in your post.

2 답변Vanilla was good but there was really so little stuff to do. It was 1 raid, do strikes, or play crucible. That was it. And the weapons were unbalanced then too. Now there is trials, PoE (no one plays but still counts), 3 raids, questing, new crucible modes, etc. If destiny switched tomorrow back to vanilla it would suck by comparison. I picked the dark below because it was still Y1 and we could use our awesome gear from VOG to wreck Crota. And that gear was still new and exciting to use. I miss my fatebringer and gally but I'd be bored of them if they were still relevant to this day. HOW was also a fun time for me because of trials. I met a lot of the ppl I play with today through trials.
