Prior to TTK, it was possible to achieve the highest character level without ever having to LFG and without ever being forced to play with anyone else at all. It was a grind that took a couple of months for each character because multiple Iron Banners were needed, but the highest level was achievable playing 100% solo. Does such a path still exist for solo players?
EDIT1: I just asked a question. The majority of people making comments have made assumptions about why I asked the question and then criticized me for what they imagined were my motivations. To all of those people; you represent what is most wrong with this community and you are too lazy to even check tracker to confirm your "imagined reality" before insulting people based on your delusions.

4 답변I'm a solo player for the most part. The path is play the game at your own pace and when done either turn the game off or be a big boy and go on lfg to find a fireteam. Its not hard or time consuming. It's a hella lot easier to get exotics and high level armor this year than it was in vanilla.

2 답변PvE to 300, solo. Iron banner past 300, matchmaking. Xur for 3oC, use them on taken champions, solo. Xur for exotic engrams, after 300 there's a chance that they decrypt at 310. Solo.

8 답변I am sorry but I believe you forgot the fact that to achieve higher levels we always had to go through the Raids or Prison of Elders (team activities).
-
2 답변You can break 310 playing solo. It's just a matter of lucky drops. Before the house of wolves you couldn't reach end game levels without raiding. If you're a solo player you don't need to be over 290 expect for iron banner (witch is a team activity).

2 답변Completely attainable. Rank 5 iron banner pack can drop all gear all the way up to 320. Get to grindin.
-
3 답변You shouldn't realistically be able to get to the highest level without doing the raid.
-
3 답변U can drop high level gear out of the iron banner packages now though so does that count?

6 답변Iron banner bro. Can get 280-310 light drops. You get a 31) artifact from rank 3, and from rank 5 you get a 310ghost and a 310+ weapon or armor. Do it on 3 chars total, and boomskies. You are well on the way to 310.

1 답변It took me a long time of constant playing to get to 300. With IB now it's a bit easier, but it's definitely not easy... But possible.

134 답변"Bungie, I want to do more solo things than fireteam required things, is that ok?" Bungie: Not how we want you to play our game, go get your friends to buy a console and Destiny AND the required DLCs "Well, my friends have work and schooling and family matters to attend to, they can't always play, could you maybe match me up with someone for me like other online games do?" Bungie: We'll match make you with our crucible and strike playlists, nothing more though. If we had Raid matchmaking or Trials matchmaking it wouldn't work, working towards a common goal in these areas of our game requires communication you can't through random pairing up. Go on a 3rd party website like LFG and find people yourself. "If I use LFG and get random people I haven't played with before for a Raid/ Trials, isn't that the exact same as you matchmaking me with random people I haven't played with before?" Bungie: This just in guys, we took away weapon part frequency, so it'll be a little tougher to get them, for no apparent reason other than we just thought like making you grind a bit more to make those worthless raid weapons seem valuable. "Hey, wait, uhh, why are you doing that? What if I have a gun already maxed out with weapon parts, but I want to infuse it into my other guns? This update seems pointless, and besides, you avoided my original question" Bungie: This just in guys, we've made it so you can get weapon parts easier. We fixed a problem that WE put in the game. You're welcome. If you're bitter about it, who cares, watch this movie of the week. Man, look at those youtube guys, they dressed up as real Destiny characters! They're so cute. "Are you kidding me? Why do you keep avoiding the questions?? Why aren't you more transparent about things? What's wrong with matchmaking? Why are you nerfing things like strange coins and weapon parts that were just fine before?" Bungie: Guess what guys!? Great news, we're going to make it so you get some kind of reward for recruiting new players to Destiny. Make your friends give us more money and we'll maybe make it worth your while. Actually, we don't know what we're going to give you, just start talking to your friends now and get them ready to buy our shit when we say so in the coming future. "Wh...What?? Ok, you know what, whatever, I've been here since day one, I'm a loyal Desticle, I'll just play the game and do endgame content and try to get all the exotics, that should be fun." Bungie: We time gated some content. Sorry. "Why?? That's not how Destiny has ever been... At all." Bungie: Last year was the beta, we're trying something new. "Isn't that what a beta is for? Testing things?... So you mean to tell me you're trying a whole NEW approach in year 2? Will this continue in Y3? 4? 5?" Bungie: Deej is on vacation this week. Don't ask me anything because I'm not going to tell. "Well, I still have my Y1 gear I play around with I guess. I really like the VoC during strikes" Bungie: Only in Crucible. I mean you could try to use it in PVE, but an ice cream cone has more punch than that thing now "....."

5 답변You do realize that the entire game is online, right? Generally, online games are meant to be played online… with other people…

This game is community based, if you don't like it(which you obviously do because of your light level being as high as it is) then go play something else that you can play while in your shell. My advice grow some wings and fly! :)
