And I feel better than ever with not even a hint of a craving to do that horrid raid on Tuesday. I must say quitting destiny and playing normal games that dont require me to sit on 1 place for 6 hours grinding for no loot has really lifted my spirits. I think this is going to become permanent... I had all intentions of coming back eventually.. but now that I know how easy it is to not play destiny I dont think I will. Git u some gud games guardians. Maybe I will seeya all in destiny 2 when bungie pulls their head out of activisions arse.
Edit;
General response to several posts so I dont have to paste it on everyone;
Like I said, I am a fan and hope the game can save itself, and I didnt intend on not playing anymore. New games are coming out and I have just found myself having more fun on them than on destiny. I didnt decide to quit, i just started playing other games and destiny has been displaced. If they can bring back the fun the game used to deliver I will probably be back. The only people defending this game still are fanboys, Im a fan but Im not blinded by being a fan.
Edit;
As I said, quitting was not the intention, but it happened due to new games. That was the point of my post, this isnt just another "I quit destiny" thread. I wasnted to discuss whats going on with the new holiday releases and talk to others who might be experiencing the samething
Edit;
Really happy with this thread, lots of new positive posts to read this morning. It seems we are all accepting that this game we have all enjoyed at one point or another in the past year might really die, and we are all here to let bungie know we liked their game before they started gettin crazy with it and stopped listening to our feedback. Much different than typical threads of this type. Usually 99% of the responses would be "git gud" or "good riddance" or "no one cares", i think we only got 2 or 3 of those here. Progress my friends. If we can come together as a community there might be a future here. But we are only half the issue. Even with a united community we face the issue of a big budget company with a product published by a publicly traded company that must see returns on investment. We must fight hard if we are to be heard. I understand Im just 1 person and no one really does care if 1 person is unhappy or quits, but together we make up their audience, we control whether they live or die as a business with this product. If you read the weekly news you all know how they like to brag about watching the numbers and how many players did this or that... well lets show them how many players are willing to give up Destiny time for a better product. Even if its just a day, if this community organised and didnt log on for a day, we would be in control. No more Luke throwing it in our face that they reserve the rights to do anything they want with their intellectual property, if we pulled something like this off all these current d bags like Luke would be out of a job and replaced by people who listen to fans.
Edit; wow 750 replies here and only a handful of negativity, finally people are accepting and willing to talk about the problems with this game. There might be hope for the future.

2 답변If you plan on quitting then delete your characters so you are not motivated to play this piece of shit money stealing game anymore

작성자: corujariousa 11/16/2015 7:32:43 PMDestiny is still the only video game a play but since TTK launch my "addiction" has been cured. I am taking the game in very small doses. So far I did only one Nightfall and no raid yet. Until H.O.W, I used to be anxious if I had not done all activities (Nightfall, VOG, Crota, Weekly Heroic) by THU. I like the emotional disconnect I have now. I play occasionally and without stress. Bungie has all credit/blame for that since there is nothing I really look forward to get from the game since all weapons now seem so non-interesting in comparison to Year One items and the NERFs... Oh the NERFs... Best wishes to all!

4 답변I am enjoying fallout so much after playing a game where I couldnt pause to take care of Real life things, or stop mid activity because the wife just got home and wants to spend some quality time. You just cant do that in destiny unless you happen to be in between doing activities. Its just so great to turn of my console and walk away in the middle of clearing out a building, then I come back a few hours later or a day later and turn on my console and Fallout just comes right back up to the pause screen as if I had just been playing. No messages like "we logged you out of the game because you were away and having to sit through 5 loading screens, then come into orbit, then have to load up the tower" TL:DR Its nice being able to play a game WHEN I want to, HOW I want to.

1 답변How long has halo 5 been out?
that was the last time I played destiny
Got myself clean like a week or two after the first TTK Iron Banner, went and played some Smite, as well as other games. Hell, I even started emulating games again. Couldn't be more satisfied. I highly doubt I'll be coming back to Destiny soon if at all due to the fact that the only relevant content in the game currently requires 2-5 more people to do. This game honestly has nothing for solo players and until that changes I'll be staying gone.

9 답변I quit for 3 months after TDB, came back for HOW and TTK but its the same old bull. The game is trash and doesn't deserve the time we put in to it. I've been playing FO4 since launch and won't be back on destiny.

I basically get on to do the raid a couple of times as it's the only thing that will increase my level. The raid on 2 guys takes about 3 hours, and it honestly a lot of fun and not real grindy if you're not wiping 20x. Might play some IB this week. See if it's as frustrating since it's not control. I did get H5 and honestly just playing MP feels as hollow and grindy as destiny did. And no matter what anyone says, H5 MP has connection advantages (while not as obvious as destiny).

2 답변So have I basically. Got Halo 5, beat campaign, played some Mp but went back to Destiny. Got Black Ops 3, tried to go back to destiny and ran a strike and mid strike it just hit me like "Wtf am i doing this strike for the 300th time for? To get some blue engrams and MAYBE an exotic that I alreayd have?" I urge anyone who feels they are disliking destint to go buy a new game and play it. Once you go back to Destiny you will "See the light"

Lmao at the posts, "why u still here then". I got ya bro, I have slowly been heading that way to sobriety, but Destiny was all I needed, all I wanted to play, but now it's why bother. To grind for useless shite on top of useless shite? I dialed up some Fallout4 the other day, looks like I found a new poison!!! I'll hit that for a bit and come back and hopefully there is some excitement back in Destiny.

2 답변Seems like a lot of people are taking a break at the moment. They'll all be back by January.

13 답변Seriously I've been playing fallout, and it's the game that finally gave me some perspective on destiny, and how hollow it is
