Why do gamers want Destiny to die?
It's a great game with a lot of potential. To me it's only gotten better as time goes by. Why so much hate?

4 답변It's one of the first games to attempt this FPS/MMO style mash up. For this reason it will be criticized by everyone, and everything until it reaches a certain point of refinement. It's still the beginning of the beginning, and as players we will see the good, and the bad evolve as changes are made. IMO the people that want it to die are either too short sighted to see that this game will continue to change, or just don't like change period. You can say what you want about the games release being suspect, but at some point you have to admit that there is something that kept you playing past knowing what took place. All in all, I have my reservations about the future as well. There are many things I don't like, however I will continue to see what Bungie has to offer simply because I'm already invested. TLDR: Destiny will not die so easily. Many people are already invested, and the game will continue to change. If you don't like the status quo help change it, or walk away. It's that simple.

I haven't played destiny in about a week, I love the game, I don't want it to die but it has just been pretty boring recently and I've decided to take a little time off of it and play some other games with friends

They don't seem to are about making a good game whatsoever. Look at games like Bloodborne, Witcher 3, Fallout 4.... Those are fantastic games made by passionate developers. Destiny sucks ass and everyone is starting to see it.

I loved Destiny, it's a great game. There have been many games that have come out that I'd buy and not play because Destiny was too much fun, then Fallout 4 came out and I can honestly say I haven't played a game that was so immersive and so well built, that it takes away my need to feel like I need to play Destiny. Tldr Destiny is a great game, and Fallout 4 is amazing and fun to play.

too much grind too much money grabbing too much focusing on LFG for the best gear too little respect for solo players too much hype that results in very little in reality too much repetition too few good ideas too much making us play the game how they want us to etc etc etc.

2 답변I agree, it's gotten better. I think people just don't have perspective and appreciate where it's at now. Just remember how many TOTAL players there are and how many actually bitch & moan... The minority always cries the loudest. What's funny/ironic is the same people that bitch about the grind keep coming back for more. I don't know how many times I've seen people swear off the game yet they keep coming back for some strange reason. Also, consider this, if everyone actually got everything they wanted in the game in a short amount of time then they'd be bitching about lack of content and saying the game has gotten boring. In the end, haters are a very tiny slice of the pie and even most of them can't really stay away long. I for one appreciate the game, how far it's come and the friends I've made along the way.

Some hate bungies obvious manipulation to keep players playing, while some are just trolls who hate fanboys. Some people are just assholes while others hate the business model and unethical practices and are worried it will become the future of games. Either way, why do people get so emotional over a stupid video game? That goes for haters and fanboys.

8 답변작성자: Roughneck 11/13/2015 5:13:11 AMA perception of greed on the part of Bungie and Activision when they tried to maximize profits vs providing players with a complete game at launch by chopping up an already only half completed game and trying to pass it off as value added DLC at insane pricing. Then -- to add insult to injury -- when the game was finally flushed out to a point that it should have been at launch, they made everyone buy it a second time at almost the original price ... and even now there are still major issues with the game that continue to go unaddressed as developers instead work on the next micro transaction item. I think that about sums it up. I too like the game but pretty sure that's why many are angry with it.
