Next destiny to be m rated
I think this will open more opportunities for a more enriched story and overall game itself the teen rating limits the amount of creativity the game developers can implement into the game which I think is also a big factor to why destiny's story is so lacklustre. Hopefully they realise their mistake and make destiny 2 mature rated, I also want to state that the teen rating isn't why the story isn't so good, bungie slack of storytelling and cut out content may be a factor to why the story is bad as well, though improved in TTK it's still not good.

Edit: blood and gore doesn't make a game 18 rated it's much more than just swearing and blood.

1 답변I really don't understand this argument. I just don't. If you need mature content in a video game, you should be questioning your maturity and your morals. [spoiler]Inb4 the inevitable "you're the one who's immature because you can't handle mature content" replies. No, I'm not. It's not necessary for me to be able to enjoy a video game, or a movie, or a tv show, etc. If anything, it's even more impressive to be able to go against the grain and create a good story/comedy without being obscene and/or vulgar.[/spoiler]

7 답변Guardian runs up to cabal, grabs head and rips it off, blood is spilling everywhere. Turns around cabal grabs guardian and starts to choke him to death, meanwhile guardian struggles to pull out their knife and stabs the cabal right in the eye, the cabal screams in agony and releases the trapped guardian, guardian pulls out an exotic sword and slices the once giant cabal into pieces. The guardian hears a growl and sees Valus taurc the fattest cabal to ever exist. The guardian who has never EVER seen such a fat mother-blam!-er cabal, falls down laughing on the floor randomly screaming insults at the overweight cabal, You fat mother-blam!-er! I bet you couldn't even catch me if I took the engine out of my sparrow and just sat on it, while using my legs to move! Ha ha ha! Then suddenly out of nowhere while the guardian is distracted laughing his ass off, Valus goes super saiyan and -blam!-ing obliterates the guardian into little pieces. Valus standing over the dead guardian corpse, proudly announcing his victory over the guardian. This is a lesson kids, don't make fun of fat people or you will be obliterated by the super saiyan cabal known as Valus. Don't believe me?!?! See watch! Hey you fat mother-blam!-er!, I bet your ugly ass mom took some time getting you out! Oh shit! Oh shit! RUN!!!!! DONT LET HIM SIT ON YOU!!!!! No!!! Eris!! Oh wait no one cares about eris, moving on.......AHHHH He's sitting on me!!!!! SPLAT!!!!! I'm not going out this easy! I manage to use a hammer of sol and hit him right in the balls before he kills me. While I'm bleeding out Valus is holding his crotch screaming and rolling around. And I'm dead.. oh and one more thing before I die fellow guardians, do NOT say Valus 3 times, because I heard that his balls will resurrect and squash you to death. Be warned!!..........

I don't know what it would change within a game like this anyways. The story wouldn't be better/worse with a M rating on the box. The gameplay wouldn't be any better/worse with a M rating on the box. IDK what the appeal of a higher rating would be other then less squeakers (But even M rated games are filled with em)

1 답변Making this game M rated won't do much. Kids play Call of Duty lol. Bungie will not add nudity because it would legitimately kill the aspect of Destiny. I can see the blood being added though.

4 답변Two things: 1. If you add actual blood into the game instead of the oil(?) from the cabal and ether from the fallen: I feel like the the enemies and especially the hive would be kinda terrifying 2. Swearing? I feel like funny anger in the game is a lot better than swearing. I would rather hear Eris Morn saying she'll try not to step on Cayde's head than Cade calling Eris something like a female dog that came from the hive
