I'm reaching my breaking point with the taken king as RNG consistently drops 260-280 items with an occasional 291-292 which will never get me to 300 light level. I feel like if you don't raid, there's really no point to keep playing because you'll never pass the 298-299 mark. Sure, I don't need to be 300 to do strikes and other game modes but the point of this game is progression and they seem to put a hard cap on players that aren't interested in coordinating with 6-man teams.

작성자: BadOrb 11/10/2015 8:08:05 PMYeah it's practically the same as the old destiny , if you don't raid you can't get to a higher light level .I worked out even with the 310 exotic sword and the 300 artifact it would still require us to get 2 x 298 items and 6 x 299 items to get to 300. Not sure if trails drops 300 + items though even if you are lower than 300 to begin with. I have a 296 ghost , 299 helmet and a 299 shotgun but i still wouldn't be able to reach 300. Not cool I agree. I was going to start a thread about it.

Why can't either of you play the raid? Do you not have any in game friends? Can you not use Destiny LFG and find a good group? Just honest questions, not hating or saying git gud, just want to know whats stopping you.

I play destiny with 2 close friends and for me that's enough. I understand I can use LFG to find people and I'm sure at some point I will, I just wish I could continue to progress on my own or with my smaller fire team for pve content.

I was lucky to have brought in my whole clan from other games, made raids and more easier to do. But at this point most if not all of my friends are playing F4 and COD, so I am left with 1-2 players I know and we use LFG to get the rest. I was hesitant about using LFG, but once I got used to it and found good players, I just added them to my friends list and if we were on, we raided or what ever. I highly suggest giving it a shot, I did run into some elitist players and a few kids, but for the most part I found nice players, with mics and players that just wanted what we do, to get the raid done and get that gear. If anyone is on PS4, I am always looking to help players learn and run the raid. I have friends that need the normal and hard mode raid. If you need someone, please add me and I can find exp. players to join us. Deadpool5241 PS4 (all 3 characters are above 309 to 312)

Fair enough questions. I have a few friends ( not even 6 though ) , most of my old friends are now on xbone , so it's a bit empty on the 360. I find it hard enough to co-ordinate myself and 2 other people in Destiny and SWTOR. I did indeed accidently play VOG once , 5 hours later I was stuck on my own at Atheon , not fun. So a mixture of time constraints and not wanting to deal with 5 other people really. There should be some way to reach 300 easier than what i posted earlier , in my view.

I just replied with almost the same sentiments. Don't get me wrong, I love this game and plan to keep up with expansions, I just wish I could continue to increase my light level at a reasonable rate (and not rely on RNG) on my own. Regardless, the amount of hours I've poured into taken king has been well worth $40.

Yeah I shall keep up with expansions too , might try Trails more too , just in case we get 300+ light leveled items even at 295. I'm not convinced though. It's the closest game to PSO , PSO2 ever made , but in first person. Well GL fella !
