It took me 20 mins to find 5 people in the crucible last night.. in control. We ended up having a 3v3 control game. Its never been this bad. Nobody on lfg like there used to be, and the only point in raiding for me is to get the scout rifle which will never drop anyways.
I suppose i could play for "fun", but there's no fun if the game is dead with nothing to do worth my time. Anyone else noticing the same?
Edit: there seems to be about 300 comments on this new thread saying the exact same. It would be cool if we got a response from bungie

I'm getting the same way.. I used to look forward to hopping on destiny with all my friends that would get on with me.. They've gone to black ops, I'm going to fallout, and I'll get on bo3 on occasion, but still.. I think it's been two or three days since destiny has been in my console, and it hasn't been that.. Troubling... Like I had hoped it would be.

1 답변Destiny is on a BREAK, alot of people needed to take a break after such a long time and play a NEW game for a little bit.

4 답변Ill be back in y7 and watch every body cry considering y1, y2, y3, y4 , and y5 weapons armor (everything) will be useless. Kinda stupid that a random can buy the taken king right now, come on, and play for a few months and get better gear than me while I've been playing since beta. -blam!- that shit.

The past couple of days there has been zero people from my friends list on destiny. I remember the last time a bunch of good games came out that I would always see at least a few people online, but nothing like this. It's pretty sad honestly, I really enjoy this game but to many things have been changed to make people come back and play on a regular basis. I fear that this may be the last year for this game if they don't make their game more rewarding to play. As of now there really isn't reason to play unless it's for a time gated weapon, and even then it's only for like an hour, at least for me.

작성자: SurfingTurf 11/10/2015 2:07:31 PMThe best remedy is to switch to Fallout today and to Star Wars for PvP next week. Destiny was never a good game anyway, all they want is your addiction and your money. Better companies took note. The industry pretty much hates Bungie and Activision and it's great to see. Even the good Developers leave when they can.

Same thing here...! No children but a life ^^ Destiny was a part of life, but won't be more, i deleted my Titan and try to lvl up another Hunter but... No more pleasure to play... Many of my reasons are the same than you man... ACTIVISION is another reason, the essence of Bungie isn't anymore, peace their souls ! And rest in pieces ??? :p And then comes Star Wars Battlefront, even if the gameplay/Gunplay isn't so good, i could play when i want, with friends too, and without any "time gate". Play offline ? Yesss we can !!! And splitscreen guys !!! Even Halo 5 has no splitscreen WTF !!!? You'd tell me Destiny is an "RPG-like" ? Not at all ! MMOFPS ? No more... Tried to but no... Disappointed, too much. And i was a FAN from the start, even before the beta... Bought from the start collector and Digital edition, doesn't a story of money for me when i like something. But now... I'm free !!! :) So i imagine that you know i wont see anybody starside... But Star Wars Side maibe !!! [ADD.] !!!!!!! ^^ https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/172296744/0/0

7 답변Everything done in Y1 being practically pointless in Y2 is a huge factor imo. Why play if you've been shown that it'll all be for naught in due time. The marketing scheme to basically force players to buy TTK is also a factor. In TDB and HoW expansions players w/o the expansions were still able to enjoy playing the game. DLC map crucible was a seperate playlist and players with and w/o the DLC would populate the regular playlists. My brother barely touches Destiny because he doesn't have the expansion and I've been extremely hesitant to buy it for him because of my own growing disinterest to play. Weapons (particularly exotics) don't feel all that unique or fun to use. I have little interest to raid because the weapons are lack luster af, although the armor pieces are pretty cool. As I play I'm asking myself 'why do I care about x' with increasing frequency and today I couldn't even get enough interest to play. I felt like playing Destiny but once I loaded a character up I just sort of sat in orbit trying to decide what I could/should do and came up with nothing; sort of just kept Destiny up while I browsed Youtube on my lap top. Y1 I could 'log in' and always had something to work towards due to the Vanguard and Crucible Mark acquisition system. I could play strikes or crucible and have fun while working towards something. If I felt like raiding for w/e reason I could do so and even if the gear wasn't important to me (after having acquired 90% of raid stuff I wanted) the event wasn't dead because I knew people in the group wanted something from the event, and being there when someone gets what they've been striving for is pretty cool. How Leg.Marks are acquired, uninspiring weapons and armor, 80% of previous content being removed from playlists or made entirely pointless, TTK's marketing scheme, and NF's that feel unrewarding in their best case scenarios have brought 0 longevity to the game and have destroyed the longevity system the game was living on in the latter stages of Y1. This stage of the world progression is not fun to play in at all. We killed everything in Y1 and now there's nothing in the galaxy to fight. Why even call it "Year 2" as if it's a new beginning when fighting Oryx is basically the end of the story. TTK brought great improvements with it but too much was tinkered with and has made the game feel rather unrewarding to play despite all the changes put in to help players feel rewarded. Who cares what gear you have if there's nothing interesting to do with it. - All I end up doing nowadays, when I actually play, is running patrols to get glimmer for the Gunsmith, completing the test weapon quest/bounty things, and crucible. I haven't touched a strike in weeks and strikes were something I did a lot of in Y1. The new strikes are pretty fun but the playlist is boring af. 6 strikes were removed from rotation and 3, 4 on PS, (well 5 on xbox with the PS exclusives) were put in to replace them. 1 playlist strike on Earth, 0 on Luna, 0 on Venus; everything is on Mars and the Dreadnaught ffs it's so boring. - : Wow this got pretty long and ranty :
-
Yeah I've noticed that - loaded up strikes last night and it took about 5 or 10 minutes to find a 2nd and 3rd person! I still play daily and so do most of my clan but the numbers are decreasing :( THE GAME NEEDS MORE CONTENT!

there is nothing to keep people playing. I have been on ESO and now Black Ops 3 is out and 80% of my friends list is on that. Destiny may not be dead but it IS on life support until they change something or release more content. Too many new games and DLCs to keep people investing their time into a game that will obsolete everything you are doing right now in a couple months anyway. I have never seen a game that launches a "MAJOR EXPANSION" that not only takes away content that was previously there (where are the Dark Below and HoW missions) , but it narrows down and confines the play styles of the people playing it (all year 1 guns and armor are obsolete).

Oh yeah. Its funny to see a shift in the paradigm. The usual desticles are still defending it. What a tragic setting, Destiny is a good game but its current direction has turned off a lot of people and it couldnt have come at a worse time, since the pre holiday lineup is out. Back then, most folks cried and then simply stopped...after a while kepted playing destiny when no one noticed.

3 답변Bungie will release some of the time gated exotics most likely next week. I'm pretty bored so I might come back for the rest of the exotics.

I sat in orbit with a friend who needs one more relic in salvage for that stupid quest and we literally sat there talking and bullshitting before we realized it had been 10 FCUKING MINUTES and not a single person got added to the counter.
