....in a local market. Totally missed a great opportunity. Hindsight is 20/20 I suppose.

I'm thinking now that there were many things that would have made his day. For example, saddling up to him, uncomfortably close with my left hand raised, Palm up and say "sorry, I'm just inspecting your gear man".
What would you have done if you happened upon a fellow Destiny player out in public proudly displaying Destiny apparel?
EDIT: ok guys. Removed the pic because apparently some people have a real problem with it. Didn't mean any harm or am I someone who walks around invading people's privacy. It was all in good fun. The purpose of the post was to have people come up with funny things to say if you had seen someone out wearing Destiny apparel.
Also, I'm not some 14 year old "next generation tech nerd", a serial rapist, a shy loner, a stalker, or any of the numerous things people have posted. My god. This community is crazy. More like a 37 year old dad and professional who likes to play Destiny. Everybody chill and post something funny you would have said to a fellow Destiny fan in public.
EDIT 2: Pic is back up with faces covered. Hopefully this is a satisfactory step for the forum members screaming invasion of privacy.
EDIT 3: Just so everyone is aware, this pic was not taken specifically to post on the web. It was taken and shared with four other friends via text message who all play Destiny because it was kind of awesome to see a fellow Destiny player proudly displaying his love for the game in public.
Then some of our texts back and forth to each other turned into "what I should have said to a fellow Destiny fan who was displaying their love of the game in public". We got a kick out of some of the funny ideas we came up with and decided it might be interesting to see what the community of like minded Destiny fans would have said if this had happened to them.
If anyone knows or is the "dude in the sweatshirt" please feel free to reach out to me if you have a problem with the pic I posted showing a fellow fan (you) representing the game you love in public.
Everyone else, get off your high horse.
EDIT 4: Removed the picture AGAIN because people just can't seem to get over it. There. Settled. All the crazies happy now? Can the complainers now post what you would have said to a stranger wearing a Destiny Sweatshirt in order to strike up a conversation now?!?!?!? This was supposed to be a fun post snuggled in between all the hateful nerf this, AMA me that, garbage all over this forum. But if this community wants to ruin and complain about everything the God help you all. Carry on.
EDIT 5: I came to the conclusion that I did nothing wrong. Not going to let the trolls win his one. Pic back up. Deal with it.

That's sweet. I saw a number of Titans at Comiccon NY this year. And there was a booth that blasted the Destiny theme music. Sounded awesome, got hyped as there was no official Bungie presence there. Ran to the source, only to realize it was some vendor trolling everyone. You could recognize the Destiny fans by the disappointed look on their faces. We're out there.

1 답변This is the best post I have seen on the forums yet. Sat in the doctors waiting room laughing my head off. Starting to panic they may admit me to the psych ward after I accidentally read out loud dismantle mines yes.... Followed by uncontrollable silent laughing

1 답변I think it would be wholly appropriate to do the Thriller Dance right in front of him, comment on his cool shader, then hand him one of my business cards with "Friend Request" scribbled on it....wait...actually, I don't think any of that is appropriate. Disregard.

1 답변I meet people all the time at my work who work for Bungie. They are always wearing some sort of destiny apparel and they love hearing about different things I have to say about their game. I even had one of them give me a laser destiny logo key chain once. They've all been super nice.
