I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE CURRENT SYSTEM JUST STATING AN OPINION THAT WOULD MAKE DESTINY BETTER TO CASUALS WHO LIKE PVP MORE THAN PVE BUT ALSO REWARDS THE BEST OF THE BEST
You go 9-0
You have been marked by the Eye of Osiris
Buff: You will only play against other players who have gone Flawless this week.
Buff: Character has massive light radiating from their head (bring back Nightfall buff animation)
If you can make it to the Lighthouse again you get much more rewarding gifts from Osiris. Like elemental primary/emblems/shaders
Buff ends at reset.
133,444 went flawless.
820,986 people played.
I will bet anything it drops below 800k this week. Bungies problem. We are just going to find a new game.
This would make matchmaking much much better at puting equal groups against each other
This would make players who have never been to the Lighthouse actually want to play.
Put non flawless players vs non flawless players.
Sick of people playing just to keep others from going.
Regardless of your opinion, thanks for the bump.

If I considered myself one of the best. This idea would really appeal to me.
Pure competition only play against the best.
But from what I'm reading in the responses it's more you want to stop others getting to the lighthouse than you want to fight competitively.
Seems pretty childish to me.

I would just like to see the best Elimination players face each other.
It would be well worth watching.
It looks like the majority of flawless people would rather stop people getting to the lighthouse than fight other flawless. #cowards maybe.

I find it funny that those who have gone flawless and replied to this post have almost universally been rude and offensive.
What's so wrong with more people getting the chance to go to lighthouse? Why are the so called "elite" so threatened by this?

I agree, it would open up more opportunities for the people who didnt go flawless, to do so. And once that happens (if i was to go flawless). Id love to play against the best of the best. Brings more intense and fun competition.

Having gone flawless: I LOVE this idea. Not only do I get to show off that not only did I got flawless that one time (emblem), but I did it THIS WEEK (flaming head).
Not only that, but now I can compete against the best of the best and not destroy the balance of Trails by continuing to compete against scrubs who are already struggling.
I'm down to make trails more accessable. I think this is brilliant.

I think if you have gone to the lighthouse, you should never play a team that has zero lighthouse arrivals. I think rewards should scale acoordingly. I dont have the time (and this pvp is dreadful) to learn the minutiae of a map while being rap3d by "elites" its bad enough i cant get a decent team for oryx hm cp.
1 답변When you win trials, it gives you the equivalent to normal raid loot. Then you get put in the winners bracket. Your 2nd lighthouse trip drops loot equivalent to the hard mode raid. There, its that simple. And if the drops are anything like the raid, nobody's getting jack.

1 답변This would be sweet. I'm not a great player, but going against others who have gone flawless could only make me better.

4 답변Not sure if this an attempt at hiding a "it's unfair I can't go to the lighthouse" post or a "give me more stuff cause I deserve it" one. As it stands, trials already arguably has the best rewards. There is no way they can improve them without doing more harm to their community. All the ones not able to get the lighthouse now will just see this as more rewards out of reach. If anyone thinks dividing the trials players up this way will mean you won't face flawless teams, you're mistaken. You may not face the team on their first character, but it could be their third. Or how about players that don't have time till Monday night? Not trying to be rude here but there really isn't a way to make trials more challenging for the best and easier for the not so good, that won't cause more issues than it solves.

1 답변Should be something the flawless players can turn off or on at will. That way they can choose to play with others who haven't yet gone flawless if they want to.

25 답변When bungie makes trials the same as the inferno gamemodes, then going flawless will actually prove you are skilled player and not just a decent sniper. Trials rules should be no radar, no heavy, and no special till round 3. Supers are disabled and abilities are 1 use per round only with no recharge. Then when you go flawless you can say you are a truly skilled player. Trials takes no more skill than winning in normal crucible. As Trials of Osiris is now, it is more unskilled than CoD TDM. That says a lot.

2 답변작성자: Fish__TM 11/8/2015 6:16:24 PMOne of my favorite parts of Trials is helping other people go flawless. If this buff was implemented, I would play on my main without boons, so I go 7-1 or 7-0 while the person I'm helping goes to the lighthouse. There's a part of the game that is hard to get through. Is that so bad?

I agree with the idea that you need to earn the lighthouse on principal (never been but played lots of cod game battles back in mw2/3 so I am used to this sort of elimination environment) what he is proposing is basically allowing a higher tier of lighthouse. this would allow even more prestige for the truly skilled players and the average team would still struggle against teams that had been flawless before, but just not that week.

8 답변작성자: FrugMaddict 11/8/2015 8:39:09 AMHERE IS YOUR ANSWER: This is a bad idea; this goes against the premise of the whole event (as it stands). It was meant for everyone to compete, together. Over all the matches, this draws a certain line of skill that a team must be past to reach the lighthouse. The exact placement of that line is determined by the individual skill levels of all the teams. What you're suggesting would create another Trials of Osiris on a whole other tier, which I don't have a particular opinion about at the moment. The unfair part is what would be leftover after a while: nothing but lesser skilled teams (what you're looking for, which isn't, you could say, admirable). This would also be unfair to those that want the challenge of what trials is supposed to be. Trials is supposed to be a competition of everyone. To make the changes you're suggesting would, at its core, change this event.

1 답변It's a great idea but I don't see bungie ever doing it. Even year 1 trials was a disaster for the end game content and it wasn't as hard to go flawless. A month into trials my friends list went from 8 pages to 1. I ended up quitting destiny until TTK because no one played anymore. Isolating the game to pvp only when the pvp sucks so bad is just not good business. Destiny will lose a lot of players to fallout 4. Eventually they will come back but with the next dlc likely not arriving until spring of 2016 it's going to be a while. Ideas like yours unfortunately make to much sense, so they will never be realized.
